Besides the cheesy sequels...I can't really think of any that I've actually hated.

Obviously all of the Disney cheapquels are terrible, but that goes without saying.
I never really cared for Hercules, and I didn't like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. LightAngel is right though, there are very few that really suck. Lilo and Stitch has potential to though.

Its probably best not to make the cheapquels an option in this thread, because they are obviously the worst. But other than that I'd have to say that Hercules and the Hunchback of Notre Dame are the worst. IMO they weren't just bad stories, they were insults to great literature.

You said EXACTLY what I was to say regarding Hunchback! Not only does it TOTALLY reinvent the story, it sends a dreadful message to kids as well (in reference to who gets whom at the end).Originally posted by RogueMartian

At least it hasn't got a sequel.

I've never liked Pinocchio or The Great Mouse Detective, though I don't consider them BAD movies,I just never cared for them...
Other than those,I don't really like the sequels(except Lion King 2)....

I have not enjoyed any of the Disney moves that came after Aladdin.
As for sequels, I hated them all except for the Aladdin ones and the Little Mermaid one was done pretty good.
As for movies before Aladdin, I never really enjoyed the Rescuers and Pinocchio.

Even though I've already replied to this thread, I wanted to add that I also didn't like Pinnochio. I just never took those boys turning to donkeys very well.
Also, I never liked Alice in Wonderland. Too weird.

Really? I found it more surreal than weird. It was a nice adaption of the excellent book, and it was entertaining as well. Sadly, it seems rather overrated.Originally posted by The Game

I never liked Pinnocio---however it's spelled---very much, and The Rescuers always seemed rather bland. I also don't like Pochahontas, simply because it really didn't add anything to Disney films. It was one of the truly bad Disney movies, in my opinion---it wasn't one that I just didn't care for.
Lilo and Stitch, as someone pointed out, has the potential of being rather bad. The previews don't look promising, but previews aren't everything. Hey, at least it looks unique.

I knew from the word "GO" that The Hunchback of Notre Dame would get the least appreciation. Sure, it was different, dark, and didn't let the "hero" get the girl...but why is that a bad thing?
Compare it to "The Emporer's New Groove":
Hunchback: Stunning artwork, powerful music, dramatic story. Sure, it deviates from the original tale, but so did Snow White, The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas. It delivers a realistic look on life without turning into a nightmare-fest for the kiddies. If Esmerelda had chosen Quasi, that would have been unrealistic and even move deviant from Victor Hugo's tale.
Groove: Comedic and stylized. Here's movie that has no basis in reality, especially historically. It's sole purpose in to entertain, which, last I checked, could be achieved as easily as burping at a kiddie table over dinner. Really, everything from the art to the setting is superficial and phony, and the film strives to do nothing more than make some money and seem "cool". Well, it succeeded, but is hardly deserving of the "Disney" label.
It bothers me that some of the last quality Disney films have been rejected by an audience seeking only a moment-to-moment distraction from their everyday lives. Hunchback did something different without cutting corners or deviating from the more magical aspects of Disney. It's movies like Groove and Atlantis that have me worried. Though Atlantis had potential, it fell into the appealing trap of predictability and cliche. Lilo and Stitch is clearly a stretch for the House of Mouse, now that fairy tales are "corny" and "old" and "Pokemon" is "in". Really, Pocatonhas, Hunchback and Hercules may initially seem dull, dark and cheap, but if you give them a few more viewings, you'll see something beautiful in all of them.
Now that Disney is desperate to become "in" again, expect more cheapquels, more "cool" films...and less of Walt's magic. Tinkerbell doesn't live here anymore.

::gets a disgusted look on her face:: I had to read the original Victor Hugo version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame in my French III class, and I can cheerfully say the Disney version is pure crap. You can NOT call that realistic after comparing it to the book. In the book, Phoebus gets murdered, Esmerelda gets executed, Quasimodo kills Frollo in a violent rage, then disappears with Esmerelda's body, and the two skeletons are found years and years later in the catacombs under the cathedral. The Disney version is a sugar-coated musical with irritating singing gargoyles, and I'm sure Victor Hugo probably groaned in his grave whenever he heard that sickeningly cheesy music. The only thing that could have POSSIBLY been worse was if they had been stupid enough to attempt to make Les Miserables as a Disney movie.
That said, here's the other one I hate:
Pocahontas: I had the misfortune of having studied this in my 7th grade Social Studies class about 2-3 weeks before I saw the Disney movie. When (in the movie) Pocahontas and John Smith kiss, while everyone else was going, "Awwwww", I was going "Auuuuugh!" To think that Native American coalitions actually allowed, no, approved Disney making that movie is flatly disturbing.
And before you start accusing me of the whole "moment-to-moment" crap, let me say that you're looking at someone who sat through all of the Gackt "Mars" concert, Slayers Premium, Fushigi Yuugi: Eikouden, Saiyuki: Requiem, three episodes of Houshin Engi, the You're Under Arrest fandub competition, and 5 hours worth of Gravitation in a single night, only moving to go catch the next film. That's roughly 10-11 hours right there, and can hardly be considered "moment-to-moment," 'kay?

Hunchback is just to weird for me, so I didn't like that. I also thought The Brave Little Toaster was bad too. It was too boring for me.
