    Snow White and the Seven MONKS...Disney goe's Hong-Kong...

    Aintitcoolnews.com has recently reported that Disney is in plans to release a brand-spanking new Snow White re-make, only it's going to be a anime-styled hong kong re-telling of the story. Snow White runs away from a murderous Emperess(the queen), only to find a Shoalin Monastery, with 7 Monks. They vow to protect her from the evil queen witch thing. Expect Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon fight sequences, and a real Disney-esque-anime-style in the art.

    Hmmm....Disney has been in the deep end of insanity for a long time now..but this...I think they just pulled the plug. Disney has driven their poor black souls into a brick wall, while strapped to dynamite. And behind this amazing wall of doom, is the kitchen to hell. Oh great googamooga, what is Disney doing?! Under the Carbonite freeze which Walt Disney is frozen under, I can sense the tear that is slowly making its way down his cheek....It's things like this that make me not want to start my own animated empire...within 50 years of my Death, some idiot might allow something this stupid to be made under my empire's name. Oye vey.................

    OH GOD NO, why is Esiner determind to drag Disney through the mud? Now they are gonna make anime-style remakes of all the classic Disney Movies, and you know they will get anime face expressions messed-up, and even do the bad dubbing. It's gonna look so messed-up and bring Disney closer to bankruptcy.

    Ok - as a major basher of Disney's practices lately I think that this one could actually have potential - but only if done away from the Snow White title. The idea that a heroine tries to escape from someone trying to get her and winds up in the sanctuary of a new, would be protector is one that has been done in the past and if done correctly could actually be done quite well. Besides I think I would rather see an somewhat new idea than yet another Disney cheapquel.

    With that said is anyone ready for Bambi 2002?

    Yea, I heard this anime version has all the animal characters looking humanoid, a lot of nudity in it and Bambi has a Blade 2/Matrix-style fight scene with the hunters who killed his mother. lol

    I've mixed feelings for this one. On one hand, I like the story's concept and actually support Disney trying their hand on Eastern-styled animation just to see how they handle it.

    On the other hand, if they decide to keep that name and/or try to make the characters even REMOTELY similar to their original counterparts...

    Disney, you go to hell. You go to hell and DIE. you go to hell and take Eisner and whoever came up with this monstrosity with you!

    Extremely reliable? Nope, Ain't It Inaccurate falls for at least one wildly baseless lie each day (usually more) and passes it off as the gospel truth. Looks like this one was the crap o' the day.
