Yeah, I have to agree that was an awesome short. I love it when Smigel rips on Disney. I think my favorite were the Matrix special effects.
Anyone else see tonights SNL? Namely SNL's TV Funhouse cartoon short. They took a fine stab at Disney's Sequels with a short about "Bambi 2002"! Haha, it started out with them "locking all original copies of Bambi away for the next 10 years!". Oh boy...Bambi rapping, matrix special effects, and Jared from those Subway commercials....
'Bout time someone said something(well, someone who people listen to...like SNL....*cough*).

Dang! You beat me to it!
OMG, that was SOOO funny, I can't even tell me. I don't usually laugh out loud at SNL, but I was cracking up at Bambi 2002. With Bambi's mom with the head injury and Jared from Subway.
Hahaha.
Good stuff.

I thought the "It was just a head wound" comment from Bambi's mother was hilarious! I also thought it was funny how they kept showing when Bambi's mother is shot off screen, denying kids the emotional trauma of seeing Bambi's mom killed. It was hilarious! The most frightening aspect is that I wouldn't be surrpised if Bambi 2 actually happens. It's a great nod to the crap that Disney has been putting out recently. It was a well deserved jab at Disney and the crap they keep churning out. Aside from the screw up in the monologue (the mask was obviously supposed to stay on) it was actually a really good episode, something rare for SNL.

I was surprised by the prescence of footage from Akira. Talk about bizarre.

YES! That was sooo funny! I love SNL
Remember the one they did with Ray Lewis (I think it was after they won the Super Bowl in 2001)? They called it "Ray of Light"
"I didn't kill no mother-BLEEP! lion!"

And hey, let's bring back the Ambiguously Gay Duo!
Yea I have to admit the Bambi 2002 skit was hilarious! As soon as I saw it I had to start laughing at it, the rapping Bambi was just to funny to watch and Jaret would have to be a guest star!
Worst part - if it didn't have the TV Funhouse stuff before and after it I would have actually believed Disney was producing this!
