It's a shame that her project never got picked up, but on the bright side it did show that quality can be shown in female-oriented cartoons, due to the phenomenon of FiM. True, it would be nice to see Galaxy Girls, but who knows. It could come some day.
It still looks like she put a lot of Galaxy Girls into My Little Pony, which kind of makes me wish she just never left that show. But still, you have to wonder if Hasbro was ever actually interested in pseudo creator-driven shows.

I loved Powerpuff Girls & Fosters, so I'm very excited for WOY to premiere. I just hope Disney doesn't stuff it with hiatuses like Gravity Falls.
That song has been stuck in head for the past 2 days as well.

Well, since WOY is in the 15 minute segments format, they could spread premiere's around just as easily as they do with Gravity Falls and Fish Hooks.

Liking what I'm seeing of the show so far, now I just gotta sing the theme song in public. Disney now has another quality looking cartoon to add to their lineup, I have no doubt that it'll do great but let's wait for the premiere.

As for Lauren Faust, if Disney isn't even picking up Galaxy Girls then I agree with the user who said first and say go independent. Cartoon Network is still boy-centric and it's risky business pitching to Nick so I say with the necessary amount of funds she can go indie with the series if it's meant to be.

I gotta say, that's gotta be one of the most appealing character design I've seen in quite a while.

Also, this is Disney's fourth TV series to be animated by Canada based Mercury Filmworks, who also did Kick Buttowski, Fish Hooks, and the new Mickey Mouse shorts.
Can't blame 'em for using them a lot, their animation is really fluid compared to other shows.

I'm really excited for Wander Over Yonder, I've been a fan of Craig & Lauren's works from The Powerpuff Girls, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. It's pretty much the show that i'm anticipated for this year, and hoping this show gives it's best. As for the theme song, I gotta say it's a rather catchy intro.

Just watched "The Greatest". MUCH, much better than the first episode that aired on TV. Wander wasn't as annoying and he actually had enough awareness that Lord Hater is the bad guy. The animation's great and the use of sound effects is terrific.

Although "The Greatest" was a (forgive me) great episode, I feel "The Egg" was the strongest segment. It left me with such a huge grin on my face, especially after Wander's song. It's ridiculous how charming this show is.

Hopefully, anyone who may have been turned of by "The Picnic" will give this episode a chance. I recommend it.

I haven't even looked at this yet - but (deep in my darkened soul) I still know the preview we got was just nothing more than a fluke... Glad to hear it!

Otherwise - Disney's in trouble until Season 2 of GF shows up to barely bail them out on their main channel (DXD seems to be doing alright as of late, though, with their animated fare.)!

Glad to see & hear that hope, indeed, springs over Yonder!!

Hah, I just remembered that Sylvia's VA April Winchell also provided the voices of both Peg from Goof Troop and Ms. Finster from Recess. I can't believe I didn't catch that sooner.
