Marketing finally starts on this thing, due to a late production start. Most likely the teaser'll be attached to Brave.

The Big Daddy from Bioshock is appearing in this movie as well. I don't how the hell this can happen in a Disney movie, but I still love it.

    The Art of Wreck-It Ralph

There's going to be an "Art Of" book for Wreck-It Ralph.

    http://www.cartoonbrew.com/wp-conten...on-wreck-b.jpg

    http://www.amazon.com/The-Wreck-It-R...ef=pd_sim_b_76

Plus here's a list of the therapy session villians confirmed for the flick.

Footage screened at CinemaCon confirmed appearances from classic video game characters from Nintendo, Midway Games, Sega and more. Filmmakers had hinted at previous press events that they were trying to acquire rights to use some classic video game characters in the movie, but wouldn’t confirm names. Support group scene characters include:
Bowser from Super Mario Bros. Doctor Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog, Kano from Mortal Kombat, a Ghost from Pac-Man, Zangief from Street Fighter and Coily the Snake from Q*bert. Wreck-It Ralph will be released on Nov. 2, 2012, competing against DreamWorks Animation’s Rise of the Guardians.

I'd Joygasm so hard if they got Scott McNeil to voice Dr. Wily. I doubt it, but man would it be cool.

In any case, I'm super hyped for this movie. When it was first announced, my first thought was "Oh okay, sounds like a cross between Toy Story and Reboot." But NOW, this sounds like it's more a Video Game version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit where it's original story and characters surrounded by gratuitous cameos. I'm REALLY foaming at the mouth in anticipation.

    Yup, some Capcom cameos.

The thing I'm wondering: is that the T-Rex from Meet the Robinsons in the background?
Joris: Your story makes me want to have a little brother, Papycha. Isn't that weird?
Kerubim: Don't worry, Jojo. You have your whole life to meet new brothers. Some you will choose, others will ruin your life, and others still will make it worth living...

Look closely and you can also see M. Bison. He's below the dinosaur.

Given that top image, this film is definitely shaping up to be the video game equivalent to Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

The trailer is out and it looks like a damn good movie!

The cameos made me laugh. It's a nice touch that'll go a long way. Plus John C Reily nails it as Ralph.
Yup. It's a signature. Go away if you're expecting something interesting here.

While the choice of background music is unusual and Sarah Silverman may be just plain annoying in the end, it's all that I've hoped for so far. The support group, the FPS and how the 8-bit characters stay close to their original forms in 3D.

I'm surprised at how long the teaser was given the past secrecy, and yet it still doesn't give too much away. Hooray, bring on November!

So far...pretty much what I hoped for. Pretty awesome. I could have sworn I saw Paperboy pass by Ralph in the trailer. Although, that doesn't sound like Peter Beckman as Zangief.

Yes, it's been said everywhere else on the internet but I'm going to say it here:
Zangief has never really been a bad guy in the video games. In other media like OVA, comics, and movies he's been made into the brute, the jobber, and the henchman at different times; in the video games themselves despite being a Soviet (originally) and his rivalry with Haggar he's just been a big goofy guy and not a villain.

Also, I swear John C. Reilly has been taking voice classes over the past few years so he sounds less like Mr. Jinks the Cat.
Joris: Your story makes me want to have a little brother, Papycha. Isn't that weird?
Kerubim: Don't worry, Jojo. You have your whole life to meet new brothers. Some you will choose, others will ruin your life, and others still will make it worth living...

Wow... After hearing about it for so long, it's cool to finally see it in action. Ralph and Vanellope seem like fun, and seeing Bowser, Dr. Eggman, Zangief and co. all together is just wonderful. I wonder what other video game characters will be in the movie... I think I'd rather let that be a surprise for me, though. XD

    Looking forward to it.

Looks awesome. Love the way Ralph and the other character are animated. Eggman and Bowser look great. A bit dissapointed they took out Dr Willy from the bad guys scene. Would have love to his final design.
