Proper Gargoyles Props?

Hey.... how come this uh, Gary(I think is name is....) guy gets most of the credit for making Gargoyes the masterpiece it was, when everytime I see the closing credits it's usually Michael Reaves name as the writer?

I think you're talking about Greg Weisman, and as far as I knew, he was the guy who originally came up with the entire concept and the story arcs. The other guy you're talking about was more of a dialogue writer, whereas Weisman developed the actual story.

I'm not sure if any of this is true, this is just what I always thought was true (and I think I heard it somewhere else).
