Episode 48: Upstanding Yuck / Walk In The Woods

This episode is already on Disney XD, so I thought I’d go ahead and create this thread so that people can watch it. However, just like last time, the episode itself isn’t listed under the “Yin Yang Yo!” section; you may have to look under “Power Picks” and then select the episode from the list that loads up.

Upstanding Yuck: Yin and Yang are skeptical when Yuck returns and claims to have given up his evil ways.

Walk In The Woods: Yin and Yang are sent into the middle of the forest and are forced to walk home.

My thoughts…

I liked both of these episodes. I may not like Yuck, as I believe that he represents many of the things that I dislike about this series, but I enjoyed the way that he was used in “Upstanding Yuck”. I particularly liked how he seriously reformed, only to return to being evil after Yin and Yang continuously assaulted him during his attempts to be kind. I also loved the visualization regarding how Yuck was reformed, with the “reformed Grim Reapers” beating him for a lengthy period of time; I thought that was amusing.

I also enjoyed “Walk In The Woods”. I do have to question why there are so many parody episodes this season, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I don’t really have much to say about this episode, but it was entertaining to watch.
