Ok, ok, Disney (and Nick) are couple of names most of us really hate right now, but perhaps we can hope Disney can somewhat redeem themselves as a competent animation studio again with Treasure planet?

Well by the looks of it...

Um, anyone else besides me picturin' this flick as a twisted cross between Outlaw star (Ok, Jim Hawking IS the name of a character in Treasure Island, that's one thing...but there's a CATGIRL in the flick, too! Next thing you know there's a Hot Springs scene ) with Titan A.E. ?

Both this flick and Lilo and Stitch look VERY encouraging... I'm actually excited! Both look like they'll be pretty darn creative, and go beyond the Disney norm a bit.
