The episode was good, but not great. It just seemed to lack...something.

Gargoyles "Eye of the Storm"
The gang hits Norway where they meet the god Odin who wants his eye back from Goliath. Goliath decides to wear the Eye of Odin and it turns him into a tyrant.
If the episode has aired on ABC Family, it's fair game. If not, SPOILER BOXES.
A word of warning. Stay out of the cartoon ironies thread in The General Animation Discussion Board or the Gathering will be ruined for you until somebody puts the main plot twist in Spoiler Boxes.
Comments?
Edit: Could a Mod add a poll? And put a Spoiler Box in the aforementioned thread while you're at it?

It was funny where Goliath was betting Elisa on the head.
Who voiced Odin? He sounds familiar.
It seems like the Avalon World Tour is covering a lot of myths from other cultures. There was the one with the Lochness, the Golem, and today's Norse's Odin.
King Beld: Conquest. Unification. It's all the same.
Morgan Sheppard voices Odin. He also played Dr. Ira Graves in Star Trek TNG's "The Schizoid Man".Originally Posted by oranthal

Considering how Goliath acted in this episode, we can see that Thailog being evil isn't that much of a stretch....

Goliath wasn't so much evil in this episode as much as he was well-meaning but horribly misguided still it was one of the better episodes in the world tour, sucks the toyline never made any "eye of odin" variant figures instead of you know....what they did release (although if you've got the skills for it I understand Hardwired Lex makes a great basis for a "Future Tense" Lexington figure and someone else turned "Power roar" Goliath into a kickass Thailog figure

I dunno... I never liked this episode much. Maybe it's because something's "missing", as someone said? Maybe it's because Goliath was just too... weird after he used the eye of Odin?
It wasn't the worst in this series; that honor still belongs to Golem, in my opinion. But it wasn't one of the best, either.
