    Another Gargoyles and it's a good-'un.

    Gargoyles "The Price"

While a MacBeth robot terrorizes the gargs, Xanatos kidnaps Hudson to make an immortality potion.

    Comments?

Edit: If the episode hasn't aired on ABC Family use SPOILER BOXES. If it has it's fair game.

"Open this cage and I'll show you how useless I am."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

    Hudson. Is. Top. Tier.

Did you see the look on Owen's face when Xanatos made that crack about MacBeth gunning for his job? Oh... and the short exchange between Hudson and Owen... I wish that would've gone a bit further.

There was something weird about the animation in this episode... it changed after the first segment. That was kinda odd.

Still, this was a great episode.

Avoid the spoiler space unless you watch Future Tense and The Gathering 2 parter.

It was because of this episode that:
    Spoiler:
Owen/Puck saw a better rivalry between Hudson and Xanatos, therefore, why Hudson was killed by Xanatos in Future Tense

This goes on my list of top episodes. Very good characterization. It was interesting to see more about Owen working for Xanatos. I hope they go more into why Owen is so dedicated to him.
The music seemed better in this episode, but maybe it was just me. I've never really listened to the basson part, but it's really good.
Anyway, I thought this was a great episode.

Hudson was very cool. Nice use of his own skin as a weapon. I especially liked the interaction between Owen and Xanatos. I always thought Owen was the most intriguing of the show's background characters because his motivation for working for Xanatos remained a mystery. Loved the ending; there's something about Owen calmly examining his stone hand and Xanatos' 'That will be all" reaction to it that gets me everytime.

I'm not sure a jacket would have worked because it isn't living. A mouse could have worked, but assuming it worked the way Xanatos thought it would, there wouldn't be a way to ask the mouse if it felt any different. Although, I guess they could have ran tests.

Actually, Owen putting his fist in the potion is one of my favorite scenes so don't you dare try to dilute it with logic!

I love this episode because it's awesome, but especially because it has my favorite Hudson quote ever:

Owen's hand wanted to get the part in the next Adams Family re-make, so Owen dunked it in so it could pursue it's own career. Didn't work out like he thought.

    Television Blows. So enjoy it.

Considering who Owen's family is, that is not as insane as it sounds.

I personally think a finger would've worked but the stone fist just looks cooler

    Spoiler:
and given Oberon's edict of how Puck can only use magic while protecting or teaching Alexander how to use his, I wonder if he would've included a course on spell removal

So is anybody here watching this series for the first time? The Price has one of the best shock endings of the series. And they're both so non-chalant about it!

But yeah, using a rodent of some sort to test it would have been more practical, though without the shock value.

Xanatos could have placed an order at Smarty Mart for a Naked Mole Rat. You get the idea. LOL

Wasn't shocking, more like "Okay, his fist is stone."

Same shock as "Okay, Tommy can't demorph."

Not shock as "HOLY CRAP, THEY JUST KILLED TOM!".
