    More Disney DVD Delays.

    Like This Thread!
Have any of you folks hear about the delays (again) of Disney DVDs? That includes Pocahontas (2-Disc), Lilo, and Mary Poppins. It was mentioned on the DVD forum on TZ.

    *grumble* Michael *cough* Eisner....

I havent heard anything about it, although I wouldn't doubt it with Eisner at the helm. I hope that A 'Sitch in Time isnt delayed either. It's due out in March.

Oh please, that's just Kim Possible. Disney churns stuff like that and Lizzie McGuire out like water. I dont see what would make Disney hold off a Kim Possible DVD. Even if they did, I think what they're doing to DVD of the proven classic films is more outrageous.

Maybe, but with Eisner and his crazy moods.........you just never know. He'd put off the release of his own birthday if it was interfearing with something.

    Tucsoncoyote here

You know One Radical Dude, I think a lot of these delays are a lot of times due to Creativity issues at Disney.. and in fact that's why I think Roy on Saturday had a Meeting with fans at Disneyana and explained what REALLY was going on at Disney.. (See Maxie Zeus' Post Roy Disney: Creativity should be Disney Mission on the News Ticker)

that's where the whole problem lies, Does it not?

They should re-release Mulan and Tarzan. I haven't found neither in stores.

Another example of how the Disney Company doesn't care about anyone any more.

The DVDs targeted towards the fans are delayed to make way and to promote crappy, cheap films aimed at parents who would rather stick their kids in front of the telly rather than spend time with them.

The Lilo and Stitch 2 Disc has been delayed so that it can act as an advert for a cheapquel, whilst the people who worked on the original have been fired.
