The Binarian Saga: Blood of Fire pt 1 Seattle, Washington

(The scene shifts to a Karate Dojo located on a busy street within the evening hours. Inside, eight students test their might against one young woman. After a few seconds, it evident that they are no match for the young African-American woman; donning short, black hair with two bright blonde streaks hanging down her face. The fight rages on until an older Japanese man makes his way to the area. It is their sensei , Fukuhara Takeda…….)

Sensei: (firmly) Enough! (everyone falls into lined positions) Monica, what’s the cause of this?

Monica: (places her blonde streaks behind her ears) Sensei Takeda, it’s not what you think. (the other students nod in agreement) I was just sparring with the others, sir.

Sensei: (nods) Yes. Is everyone alright? She didn’t hurt you, did she? (everyone answers “No” at the same time, while holding their bodies in pain. He looks at Monica)

Monica: (grins) I only used half my strength, honestly.

Sensei: Everyone, I have an announcement to make. Monica Hayes, you have shown once again that you reached another step on your path to the way of the warrior. I hereby honor you now with the third degree of mastership. Come forth and receive your honors. (Monica proceeds to Sensei Takeda. He removes her old belt and replaces it with a new black belt, which has three yellow stripes on the tail.)

Monica: DOMO ARIGATO!! (they both bow to each other)

Sensei: Have a good evening, class is over…. (exits to rear office)

(Monica and the others grab their things from the side of the dojo. Monica takes out her voice pager. As she goes to clip it onto her belt, it begins to beep)

Monica: I wonder who the could be? (Clicks the button, a female voice emits)

Female Voice: “Monica, this is Dr. Mary Kreiger at the Seattle Medical Center. I’m calling to tell you that your father, David Hayes has been in a car accident. His condition is critical!
Please come to the emergency room immediately”

Monica: (whispers) Oh, no…. (she grabs her things and rushes out the front door)

Female Student: (holding her stomach) Damn, she’s as strong as a bear!(groans)
Male Student: (concerned) I hope she’s alright…



Monica: (running in the middle of the street )I have to get there!! (looks up and see the hospital towering in the distance) [The hospital’s ten blocks away] (panting) I must….(her eyes begin to glow yellowish orange as her speed increases o a blistering eighty m.p.h. Traffic swerves frantically as Monica blurs pass the intersections. Monica makes it to the hospital doors in under five seconds and slows to a jogging pace as she enters. She calls out for Dr. Kreiger) Dr. Kreiger!!!! DR. KREIGER!!!!! (a female doctor approaches Monica)

Dr. Kreiger: That’s me, who are you?

Monica: (fixes her hair) I’m Monica Hayes, where’s my pops? Is he okay?

Dr Kreiger: Well, as good as can be. He has severe damage to his abdomen. He won’t be able to walk for a few weeks, but he has stabled.

Monica: (sighing) No….

Dr. Kreiger: (calmly) Monica, relax. He will walk again. Fortunately, there was no internal bleeding found nor damage to his vertebrae.

Monica: Really? That’s relief.

Dr. Kreiger: Say, I paged you only a few minutes ago, how on earth you got here so quickly?

Monica: (Nodding off) To be honest, I do- (faints into Dr. Kreiger’s arms)

Dr. Kreiger: Someone help, now!!!! (hospital aides rush to Monica and carry her away)

if ya look at the list of boards, one of them says "The World's Finest Fan Fic Board"

I think Blood of Fire has a copywrite, no I think that's Blood of Heaven.If anyone is looking for a thrill read the Blood of Heaven trilogy.
