Shane Glines Drawings (PG-13: Mature Content)

    Like This Thread!
Hey, I was surfing around the net, and landed upon Shane Glines website...I found 4 Batman-Related pictures. I dunno how you guys rate pictures, so I won't put the pics in this post..just link them:

    Dana Tan

    Dee Dee 1

Dee Dee 2 (I think it's Dee Dee anyway..)

    And,

    Melanie

The main reason I put "PG-13?" in the topic is because of the last one..and the 2nd DD one..........anyway, I just thought I'd show you guys...I really like the first Dee Dee one...looks alot like Harley..

I don't think Shane likes noses that much...DD2 and Dana are missing theirs... lol

The art there is GREAT! That Melanie pic is a bit...risque - so it was smart to label this thread PG-13. Shane Glines is a heckuva nice guy and talente dbeyond belief! He got the characters dead on!

All of Glines' work is great

Those are terrific links, but I'd encourage everyone to go to the main site, and go thru it slowly and savor each image.

He's certainly got the girls down. I wonder how he'd do on the Joker? I'd like of like to see his version of Mad Love. Harley in her nighty would be naughty.

These are really nice drawings, thanks for sharing this wonderful site. I might just print some of these out as album covers for my personal custom CDs...My friends will be even more jealous.

Yah, Shane's site is way too cool and an inspiration to a no-hack artist like myself. :P

As Bird_boy mentioned a lot of the images are of the PG-13+ level. But he is the only artist that I know of who could draw an overwright woman and still make her look (censored) sexy.

Also, I think on the commentary track for the edited version of BB:ROTJ DVD, Bruce or Glen stated that Shane created all the Jokerz including DD. I believe they also stated that Shane draws better females then they themselves do. (I'd have to double check it's been months since I've watched it. I only bought it for the commentary, as I'm still waiting for the REAL version to come out on DVD.

Oh, and Vigo.... that's a (censored) cool idea on using his work for CD covers!

Reminder: Just becuase a thread is PG-13, doesn't mean PG-13 language is acceptable.

He is a great artist. His artwork is just amazing. The way he draws the female body is just amazing. He storyboarded the dance sequence for the BB intro, including a sequence that was cut out becuase it was considered a bit risque. The sequence thatw as cut out was some more dancing. It was replaced with close ups of Dana dancing.

The "risque" on was online at the official website for a breif time (before the show premiered) but was taken down within a week. As of now, there's no copy of the original scene anywheres.

LOL!! Yes well. That guy is amazing, and saying those pics are gorgeous would be an embarassing understatement. Not too found of the Dee Dees though. I think it's because they look a bit TOO much like Harley. But I am so sold on Dana and Melanie (my two favorites). I'm glad he did such a kick butt job on em!

Man, can you imagine his version? It'd be safe to say that "Mature Content" would be plastered on his version...
