    DC vs. MARVEL- Opinion?

    Like This Thread!
[FONT=Comic Sans MS] If you've heard of it, (or read it) than you know that there was a comic on DC vs. Marvel where the heroes and villains from the DCU and from the MARVEL UNIVERSE fought eathother and eventually led to AMAGLAM UNIVERSE. Would Timm or the others consider a MOVIE on it? THAT WOULD BE SO COOL! Huh? What do you think, should they?

A movie is possible (compared to an actual T.V cartoon crossover anyway) but I really doubt it would happen. And if it did, I would only have one franchise cross over with the other as a starting point, and if anything good came of that, expand it even more.

In theory it was cool. The final execution (the comic) had to have been the biggest pile of crap I've ever seen. The story (if you call it that) was laughable...and...ugh. I don't even wanna think about it.

An animated version? Maybe...it could work, if there were a reason for them to even be fighting in the first place. I'd rather see more DTV's than that though...

Bad idea. Too many characters. Way too many.
The world's 225 richest people now have a combined wealth of $1 trillion. That's equal to the combined annual income of the world's 2.5 billion poorest people.

    Something to think about.

Well I thought the Marvel vs. DC comics sucked, especially Superman vs. Hulk.
The only way to get a decent fight between the heroes of both companies, is to either Marvel-fy the DC heroes or DC-fy the Marvel characters. To Marvel-fy Superman for example he would be put in the class 100 range and the invulnerability would be toned down to a more "believable" level. To DC-fy Hulk, he would have Supes invulnerability and strength level plus keep his ability to become even stronger with rage. Thus making Hulk stronger than Supes and also forcing Supes to use his wits to beat Hulk, instead of just standing there like he couldn't feel Hulk's blows.

When Superman was able to take full force punches from the Hulk without feeling it, I said "Bull Crap!" (i didn't say crap). I've seen lesser foes drop Supes to his knees. Anyway the comics were poorly done and I choose to ignore them. If the movies follow the comics, I say it's a bad idea but if they follow something similar to my hero conversion idea then it may be ok.

Most of the fights were voted on by the fans. I think that affected the quality, or at least the believability of the outcomes.

Like I thought it bit hard when Storm beat Wonder Woman. Couldn't happen. But that's what the fans voted, so you gotta deal with what the fanboys want to see.

I think it would be a cool movie, but it would be really hard to do without making people mad, either by leaving people out, or depowering people or up-powering people, which in both cases is silly to me.

Just pair up people that would make sense fighting and are on the same level. Still, I think the outcomes would case some heated debate.

I think it won't happen because it's too much work to get the people together, choose who should be involved, figure out the outcomes, etc. It would be pretty awesome.
