Whats Your Favorite Batman And Superman Titles???
With OWAW i actually started reading all 4 superman titles. Out of them, i'd say my favorite is "Superman" mainly because of the artwork. I think its artwork is hot as hell, although the latest issue had a new artist. anyone know if its permenent? But Jeph Loebs writing gets on my nerves every once in a while (like when he put in all those annoying historical speeches. they were okay, but after a while it was like, okay, enough, please stop). Then i like action comics. i think its written really well. then taos, i really dig the art in that book too. and tmos is good too, the art is nice w/ all the bold lines and stuff. So, in order....
Superman
Action Comics
The Adventures of Superman
Superman: The Man of Steel
As for batman titles, i really only read "Batman" and "Detective Comics". I personally think "Batman" is by far superior to dc. The art work kicks *****, and the writing is really indepth and stuff. Me like. Detective has good writing, and the artwork is interesting at times, but i really am getting tired of it. That whole color scheme they got going gets old really fast, imo, and the actual pencils seem way too stiff and awkward at times. but its a good book, no doubt. I dont read "gotham nights" or "legends of the dark knight", but from what i see and read, they arent as good. whats your opinions of those two? anyone read them? are they any good and how do they compare to batman and dc? so, in order..
batman
detective comics
gotham nights- dont read
legends of the dark knight-havent read since like 93.
whats your favorites and why? lets hear it....peace.

Okay, here goes....
Batgirl: Awesome art, great writing, and the direction this book is taking looks to be great...
Robin: I just started read it during the Danny Temple storyline and it is definetly worth picking up. Although Tim being locked up at Brentwood is kind of a bummer...
Harley Quinn: I've loved this book since issue one. I think the art is really good (I like the real-life to animted transitons they do sometimes) and the stories keep getting better and better. The Metropolis story should be really good....
Batman: Gotham Adventures: I've been getting the animated Batman books regularly since B&RA came out. The series isn't as good as it could be, but I'm holding out hoping for some change for the better...
Superman Adventures: I really like this book, and hate to see it go. The majority of the artists are awesome, and aside from the magic stuff they've been on lately, the stories are consistently good....
