What happened to Lois LAne in the Justice League?

    Like This Thread!
In the Secret Origins Episode, the first main battle took place in Metroplis but instead of Lois Lane, Jimmy, Olsen or Angela Chen reporting, we had Snapper Car (any kid born into a family that could give them a fisrt name like Snapper should be shot on sight to put him or her out of their misery.)

So I was just curious to know why they didn't bother brining back the reporters we were familiar with from Superman the animated series. Sometimes the events take place in Metropolis and I find it hard to believe that Superman's shadow is never to be seen.

Well during the Silver Age Snapper Carr was the team's teeanage mascot(chessy I know) and I suppose Timm & co. wanted to pay homage to the character by making him a reporter and according to rumors Lois is supposed to appear in season 2 of JL

Lois will show up in at least three story arcs during Season 2, which will begin airing in the US in October. She appears in pt. 2 of "Only A Dream" and in both parts of "Hereafter", but I don't think her other appearance(s?) has been announced.

Well one problem is that Snapper Carr is a television reporter on JL and Lois Lane is a reporter for The Daily Planet so I don't think she'd be on television reporting on the events of Secret Origins. Also as stated before it was a nice way to incorporate Snapper Carr into the series instead of making him the JLA "mascot" like he was in the comics. We'll see her in season 2.

I'm glad to hear that Lois is gonna be in a few episodes of JL:S2. I hope to the same if not better kind of humer she had in STAS.I thought her personally was a bit funny. I like her charecter quite a bit. Two more things I want to mention, I hope that the voice actress that did Lois's voice in STAS will do Lois's voice in JL:S2! Also, I hope they don't change Lois's STAS charecter desigon in JL:S2!

Don't know about design, but the voice of Lois will be the same, as with all the other "guest stars" from Superman that will appear in "Hereafter" I believe.

U know, i have to agree that Lois shouldve appeared in "Secret Origins". She didnt have to play Snapper's part, she really didnt even have to speak. Just a small cameo showing her and Jimmy running from some falling debre while she taking notes in her little pad wouldve been cool to see and a nice bit of continuity. That seems to be a problem with the series. Bruce Timm wants everything to be done in major proportions, when it doesnt always need to.
