Zatanna Web Toon by Paul Dini...

Anybody seen this? I haven't seen anything posted here yet (forgive me if I'm reitterating a past post)

It looks like it's trying to do "Zatanna" meets "Sabrina: the Teenaged Witch"... There's an appearance by Clarion (IMHO, looks a bit more "bubblegum" than he did on Batman) complete with cat drapped over his shoulders. Two episodes up at this point... much shorter than the Gothom Girls ones...

...I've only just started looking around the site, but I hear there's someway to vote for the different animated shorts here and possibly have them developed into a new WB toon.

...ok, so he did What the?! Usually you expect more..uh..sensible things from Dini. I don't really get this whole "Zatanna is the Britney Spears of the magic world" thing...oh man. *backs away from show* Not watching that..

That was...different. Eh, not exactly my cup of tea, but I could see how it would appeal to some. What's with Z's dad - since when did he become Xanatos from Gargoyles??

Yeah, I think we had a thread concerning this a while back. Not sure where it is. Most people were horrified by it, I certainly was. It really is a gross knock off/combination of Sabrina the Teenage Witche and Zatanna. The opening was enough to scar me, no need to see more than one ep.

I'll tell you one thing guys if you thought those cartoons were not that fun, don't you dare see Happy Tree Freinds!!! those Tree Freind online cartoons are the most sicking, grusome psychopathic cartoons I have ever seen !!!

I didn't have that much problems with it, but I don't understand why they didn't bother to explain who that guy was...

Well, I'm a Dini-phile. It wasn;t too horrible. As I see it, he took Zantana and made her by way of Kim Possible and Sabrine the Teenage Witch. Not bad. Hell I'd rahter see this than those toons. (Though I must confress Kim Possible is kinda hot. For a cartoon that is.. Yeah.) Plus it's always cool to see Clarion (bum Bum BUM!) the Witch Boy and Tikal. I loved that Batman TAS ep. Sure it was kiddie and all pop like. The Britney comment hurt, but I'm guessing that was some PR person writing it. Anyway, it was enjoyable for what it was.
