Currently, What was Krypton like??

I know it has been, in the past, either a scientific Utopia or a technocratic fascism. In the current continuity, what was it??

We don't see much of Krypton in STAS. From what I can piece together. There is a Council of Elders that makes all the decisions. They have advanced technology, weapons, and armies. At one point Nala and Jax-Sur (not sure if that is spelled right) tried a military coup but Jor-El stopped them and they were sent to the Phantom Zone. Krypton seems like a good place to live. Except for the fact that they have a central computer called Braniac. Obviously Braniac decides to save himself rather than save the citizens of Krypton before it explodes
