There is a difference between annoying complaints and complanits that will help the series:

    Annoying:

    - Superman's not as strong as he use to be (Timm said that's be worked on for season two)

    - We want Tim Daily back as Superman (get over it people, Mr. Daly had tons of other projects to do)

    - Why John Stewart instead of Kyle Ryner, or Hal Jordon (that one just bugs me)

For the good of the show:

    - We want Paul Dini back as one of the writers (Paul Dini or anybody!!! JL season 2 need better stories)

    - There's not enough character development for Flash, or Hawkgirl (Every character esspeically when focused on a team of heroes need to have character devolpment and background infomation. Those are the two values in which will make a better series)

    - We never see the characters out of costum (We need to know what this heroes do when not saving the world from Lex Luthor. God forbid that Batman just stays in the Bat-Cave all day or The Flash just runs around looking for excitment)

    - We want guest appearances from past suporting characters (not in every season about yes when do need to see some of the Leaugers supporting cast. I say we seen enough of WW, MM, and GL's supporting cast. It's time for us to see Linda Park, Alfred, Lois Lane, The Bat-Sidekicks, Hawkman)

    The Forgotting:

    - Why can't JL be like Batman:TAS, Superman:TAS, and TNBA???? (Every series is not going to be like their counterpart. If we had that Batman Beyond would of been like the old 70's Batman cartoons. Every series has a bad season it will get better when time goes by)

I can see all of them being valid, but whatever we get should be good anyway. My only real complaint is that Hawkgirl has no backstory, but that's okay. There is another 26 episodes next season, so here's hoping...

    Later.

I was only pointing out the most common things being said about the show. I can understand Tim Daily not coming back any time soon, so I've gotten over that. It's nice to hear that Timm is working on making Supes stronger for season 2. I don't mind John being on the team. Green Lantern is more than just one person, (Alot of planets are part of the Lantern Corps.) but other fans do have A point about the decision being the result of Political Correctness. (Which is A bit extreme.) The fact that Paul Dini co-wrote "The Brave & The Bold" is A good indication that hopefuly he might write for future installments. I would like to learn more about Flash, or Hawkgirl's backstories. Here's hoping that we will. As well as seeing the heroes out of costume. As for guest stars, Only if their necessary for the plot.

Well u forget the "cliched forced dialogue" or "sacrificing the plot for great big pointless battles", but those did get toned down somewhat for the later episodes, so i wont say anything else.
I didnt vote for this poll because i cant pick just one thing on this list thats a bigger problem then the others.

Starting out with wimpy-Superman, i agree. He just stands there and gets hit, without trying to fight back most of the time. Id rather this get explained (him holding back due to the events in "Legacy") rather then just abruptly changed in season 2, or even worse, remain unchanged.

Ive gotten over the Green Lantern thing, although id still like to see some mention of Kyle (come on, throw me some continuity bones), but im not gonna make a big deal over it.

Well id love to have Daly back, but ive gotten used to the new guy so thats not a big deal for me.

Paul Dini (or whoever was holding Batman:TAS, Superman:TAS and Batman Beyond together) is definately needed back. While there have been some great episodes, there have been just as many bad one and even more mediocre ones. Quality in writing over-all has been inconsistent and unimaginitive.

As for character development, there hasnt been enough for not only Flash and Hawkgirl, but also for J'Onn, Wondie (in everyone of her episode she seems to get upstaged by her Mom) and even Superman. Only Stewart gotten any real development, and Batman is riding off of ten years of his own show.

Not seeing characters out of costume is another big problem. Im not asking for "a day in the life" episode like some people are where we follow them around out of costume while they got shopping all day or something, i'd like to know they do something other then hanging out in the satellite all day (thats character development). Show Stewart and HAwkgirl eating Chinese food in there civies when they suddenly get paged by the JL, just things like that.

And finally, not using established supporting characters is another problem for me. I (and i assume most fans) dont want whole episodes devoted to Nightwing visiting and being offered membership (atleast not right away), but is Alfred in the background of the Batcave too much to ask? Or a Lois Lane cameo during a press conference? U couldve stuck her into "Secret Origins" just showing her running from some fallen builing and that wouldve been fine.

Sorry, just had to rant there. Now im late for my class.

I'd like to see them out of costume... I think the only ones we've seen are GL and Superman in the first movie. It's kind of conspicuous having people run around in brightly colored spandex suits and masks... perhaps they could go undercover on occasion.

Totally agree with a lot of y'alls points...

The most pressing ones I would like to see addressed are cast outta the costumes. Having them in doing normal stuff, and then getting into battle gear would be cool to see (kinda like in "Blackest Night" where GL was in the barber shop and he changed from regular clothes to GL, something like that for the rest of the cast.

    P. Dini. Since he was part of B: TAS, TNBA, etc. Bring him back for better, substance worthy episodes.

Character dev. for Flash and HG. Would be nice to see their origins, not that most of JLers don't know, but showing would be better.

Supporing cast is also a must do for the JL story crew. It'd be cool to see Alfred, NW, robin from Bats, Lois from Supe, Hawkman, and whoever else I may be forgetting...

As for the other issues, I think they might be address in good time. Yes, T. Daly is better as supes, and J. Stewart could be better at using his ring like Raynor did. I know JS is stern, military type, but a little more imigination couldn't hurt.

Guess we can only wait for Season 2...thanx y'all

Why John Stewart, instead of Kyle Rayner or Hal Jordan?
    *Raises Hand* Guilty.

Basically, my beef is that the guy, John Stewart, is the victim of bad lines and bad character portrayal. I can tell you straight out that John is not an "Army General". He is a man that has lived in the shadow of Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, the Guardians, other GLs, and now Kyle Rayner. He questions himself if someone looks at him crosseyed. He has a past. He killed a planet, Xanshi, and only one person survived. At his hand, the entire "Mosaic World" fell. Animated John Stewart does not equal the Comics Stewart.

Basically, I don't understand why in "In Brightest Day" in Superman: The Animated Series, that they couldn't have just used Hal Jordan and have him be a friend of Superman who works at the local outlet of Ferris Aircraft for a month or something. It wouldn't have been too hard to get around, in all honesty.

In the end, it doesn't really matter which GL there is, I just wish they wouldn't go back and forth with continuity and such. The Green Lantern continuity is very delicate. A little breach in the continuity and it is all over for GL Animated.

Bruce Wayne is always the first Batman. His parents always die in front of him. His butler is always Alfred.

Clark Kent is always the only Superman. He always is rocketed from a dying planet, Krypton, by Jor-El and Lara. His real name is always Kal-El. His parents are always Jonathan and Martha Kent. He always lands in Smallville, Kansas.

Abin Sur always crashlands in Coast City, wait, or is Metropolis? He always dies at the hand of Legion, wait, or is Sinestro? Wait, wasn't Sinestro a GL when Abin died? Abin's ring always finds Hal, wait, or is it Kyle? Kyle always finds it in Coast City, wait, err...Metropolis...

That is the problem with GL, my friend.
"Leaping Lanny and Randy Savage are brothers, and Randy Savage, your name is Randy Poffo. THAT'S RIGHT, RANDY POFFO. You're ashamed of going around calling yourself Poffo so you probably got the name Savage because you're ashamed of putting yourself on the same level as your brother because he is much better than you are. YOUR BROTHER IS A HUMAN BEING. YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A SCUMBAG. THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE; YOU'RE A DOG. YOUR NAME IS POFFO." - Ronnie Garvin to Randy Savage, ICW Wrestling, 1980.

Who kills his parents, is it Joe Chill or an unnamed source? Does Catwoman know his identity? Does Harley Quinn exist? How did the Joker come to be? Just pointing out that GL isn't the only continuity problem in the comics. You're right about Supes though, it seems as if his story is pretty solid.
Then again I don't read the comics much; I pick this stuff up, hehe.

I'm voting for getting rid of the powered-down Superman. I re-watched Injustice For All, and he was doing that struggling full-nelson spot with the Ultra-Humanite. Humanite was giving him trouble? Humanite??? A big white gorilla??? Grundy or Draaga is one thing, but a gorilla -- even a super-gorilla (and there's no evidence that UH is one) -- should be no match for Supes. That's just wrong.

In related fashion, where's the SuperSpeed? It was one of the things I loved the most about S:TAS -- when he needed to move fast, he'd do "the big blue blur" and move fast. It was so much a part of his character back in the day, but the only time I've seen him do it on JL is when he went to hug Bats at the end of Savage Time. They need to bring it back.

Where's the "poor writing" option? The dialogue reeks most of the time, but I guess its fairly good for a kids show. Most storyarcs needed some work with dialogue IMO.

Yes! This is why I would love an episode where they explain how Jon Stewart became a GL, why it isn't Kyle from the STAS, and what the heck happened to Hal, Sinestro, Coast City, etc. I know it's complicated because there have been so many GLs over the years, but man, can they just decide on one cannon and fly with it? See, I have no problem with Jon Stewart, but I would love to know how he became the bearer of the ring, and point out that there are others, like Kyle. Wouldn't Superman remember him because he's a cartoonist at the Daily Planet in STAS. AHHHHHHHHH!

Am I babbling now? But that wasn't my gripe initially, although it is right up there on the top of the list. I love the cartoon, but I would love to see more Hawkgirl background story. She's a main character and hasn't really had much said about her. What do we know? She likes to hit things with an energy mace.

Ok, so there you go. I think I've said my piece.

Oh, and I wish I could see Jade sometime in season 3 or 4...........

My largest complaint about the cartoon is that they show the SAME shows all the time! I get tired of seeing war world fortyleven times when there are new episodes to be seen!

However, other than that, I really enjoy the show, especially the hinting of the Batman/Wonder Woman relationship. I hope this is touched upon on season two (IF WE EVER SEE IT!!!!!!!)
