Was Huntress ever introduced in the animated comics?

I think there was at least one issue of Batman Adventures or possibly Batman & Robin Adventures that did feature the Huntress. Can anyone confirm this, and if so, what issue was it, and what was their take on the character?

I can confirm it. It DID happen. I have the issue back home, but only God knows where I have it stored.

The issue was BATMAN & ROBIN ADVENTURES #19. Good issue, too, if I remember correctly.

If you read the letter column for Gotham Adventures #1, it said that she might return in this book... I guess we can count on that not happening. It would be nice though, their version of her was pretty dead-on and made for a good read....

Ahem, but anyways, the take on the character was very rather good, though the art was deplorable. The issue is worth picking up, and if you'd like a small summary, just look in this spoilers box:

Helena Bertinelli, a PanAm athlete, barely escapes the night when her family is murdered by rival mobsters in front of her eyes. In a letter from her deceased father, she is given the duty of dismantling his mafia empire, and adopts the indentity of the Huntress - beginning a painful journey of discovery as she comes to terms with the memory, and reality, of who her father was.

It's a really nice origin story for her, though she has yet to reappear in Gotham Adventures...see above for the reason.

where the animated series fails, the comic sometimes picks up...and that's adding new character to the animated u.

Much like the first run, issue #31 introduced Anarky. A good read. Sadly, he never turned up on television.

Perhaps there's a small chance he'll make an appearance on JL. :-/

The art wasn't the best, but nonetheless B&RA #19 was a great issue. Huntress was basically the same, how she got into the vigilante business was just slightly tweaked. It worked really well. I think Ty had many plans for Gotham Adventures, but they all were left hanging in the air when he left. It's such a shame.

I loved the Anarky issue too. Great stuff. I would love it for him to appear in JL, he'd be a great threat.
