Freeze framing the Mask of Phantasm DVD

I don't know about the rest of you, but I like to freeze frame scenes in DVDs that have newspapers and other things to read that would otherwise be unreadable as they aren't on the screen for long. (There is a good joke hidden on one of the newspapers in Election for those of us who like to do this!)

In Mask of Phantasm, I freezed the frame where Alfred is holding the newspaper with the headline MYSTERIOUS VIGILANTE REPELS BANDITS. The newspaper article is about grade school kids and their grades! Not the most earth shaking discovery, but an interesting tid bit the same.

The X Files episodes on DVD are fun to freeze frame. Chris Carter has little tid bits thrown into newspaper props and in paper work they find from time to time in the series. Nothing to ground breaking of course, nothing that you couldn't survive without knowing, but it just makes it fun to find this stuff.
