It's not that I hate this idea. It's just, if they're going to bring it back, I think they should bring it back the way it was and people fell in love with. If not, then this should really be SBFF to give that it's time to shine.

While I don't necessarily disagree with you, I am curious how they came about giving this series the greenlight over the other shorts. They did cite the New Teen Titans shorts during the DC Nation panel as a reason (i.e. did they gauge the Twitterverse, somehow attain ratings per shorts), if I remember correctly. I'm also surprised WBA has so much staff they can be spread across 4 shows, over a dozen shorts, and the DC Comics Premiere line (which has 3-5 movies in the works at any given time) but I digress. I get Beware the Batman, there's always a Batman show in circulation. But Teen Titans Go!, I suspect Sam Register really wanted to beef up WBA's library of existing properties (he stated a general desire at that conference some months ago) and TTG! was born out of the desire to expand on TT.
But all that said...lot's of Silkie and I'll be content with the show.

Personally i think its one of two things...first they are playing it safe; this is a different kind of comedy show than they have tried with DC in past, more in line with a lot of traditional comedy cartoons; as such to try an maximize the show's potential they want to use recognizable characters and ones that already have a fan base; And thus they fall on teen titans (this may help explain how they overlooked both plastic man and SBFF). when it comes down to it, over the years, there have been a lot of voices wanting teen titans back. The other possibility is that the execs have no way of really gauging the popularity of the shorts and are still stuck in the stigma that shows featuring girls will not work well with a young male audience which makes up a significant part of their base; and this is why they would not go with Super best friends forever, because they think that its all female main cast will not be popular amongst young boysWhile I don't necessarily disagree with you, I am curious how they came about giving this series the greenlight over the other shorts.
That's a pretty creative idea, to be honest. Although, since CN was premiering Regular Show/Adventure Time in back to back 11 min shorts, WBA might as well greenlight SBFF as a separate show altogether. And not make something along the lines of Maxwell Atom's "Grim and Evil".
???? idk i rather have new season to the orginal

To everyone who wanted the original show back, you might want to know what was planned for season 6. According to Derrick J. Wyatt (Teen Titans, Transformers: Animated, Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc., and Ben 10: Omniverse), the next arc would feature the Titans setting up Towers for the various International Teen Titans teams. The season would center around the Titans going to the dimension of the monster from the Season 5 Finale and the battles and mysteries behind it. It probably would've featured Terra, or Terra's look-alike as well. The CN/WB execs probably weren't impressed with this pitch so the series didn't get a pick up and was canceled. Somehow someone probably pitched the "Trouble in Tokyo" DTV to end the series off properly. My question is: Who pitched the New Teen Titans shorts and Teen Titans Go! series? They couldn't have been picked up if there was nothing to pick up. It was obvious CN picked them up because of the demand of the return of the series, but who thought it was necessary to pitch this?
New to me too, wasn't season five originally going to be longer like twenty episodes and they had to cut it back to thirteen?

I don't have the link now but Derrick J. Wyatt confirmed. He was a major part of Teen Titans, Transformers: Animated, Season 1 of Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc., and Ben 10: Omniverse. I don't think he's involved with New Teen Titans or Teen Titans Go!Originally Posted by ShadowStar

The monster in the finale was simply there to represent crime. As it changes in form, they still continue to chase it. That's all that monster was.
Its obvious to me that Teen Titans Go and reruns of TT is only there for fillers. To fill up the gap during season or episode breaks.
I can't wait for the Teen Titans Go! I heard its it's going to be funny
