Good grief. I have no idea what makes them think they're going to make a buck off this game. Why was it so hard to just port the game over to Wii and just ignore any motion controls? And WiiU while ignoring Gamepad functions? It wouldn't be easy, but I'm sure something could have been done. The success of this game was the last chance we had to get a shot at some more Young Justice, and Little Orbit has totally blown it. After December's trade paperback, goodbye forever, YJ.
Little Orbit should be embarassed - I think the cancellation has more to do with laziness than challenges, because think about it - what developer in the world has problems configuring a game to work well with a seven-year-old console (Wii)? I honestly have no knowledge about video game development, but it seems so outlandish to say "both of these platforms presented challenges we couldn't overcome".
I guess Steam will have to do, assuming that comes out at all.
Also, what does "lack of retailer support" mean? Gamestop didn't have enough shelf space or something?
