I'd love to hear Tim Curry as Joker.
And I love for them to make a movie out of The Killing Joke.
However, my general hatred of TDKR makes me want Curry not to be involved in it.
I wouldn't mind hearing Curry play Joker in something else though. Perhaps HE could do The Killing Joke.

Personally, as far as actors are concerned, I'd love for Michael Keaton to play Batman in an animated role. Especially in something like The Killing Joke.
He's done animated roles before, so I don't see why he wouldn't be willing to do another.
I know he seems keen on avoiding anything Batman-related, but maybe being told that "The Killing Joke" was what inspired Tim Burton's take on Batman might make him lean toward doing it.

And as long as you're mentioning things like your desire for a movie version of The Killing Joke... and DC/WB deciding to give TDKR a 2-Part Movie, I'd like to express my desire.

I'd love for them to make the Knightfall Trilogy (maybe even Prodigal) into a movie.

I got word it, I suppose at least the first movie, already is being dubbed into Spanish.

    Trailer Premiere:

I think that might just be Michael Ironside after all...

or it also kind of sounds like Miguel Ferrer. Regardless I've heard him in DC cartoons before.

Yea based on that it doesn't sound like Ironside but it could be Miguel. Trailer looks pretty good though.

I think it sounded like Ironside at parts... a more toned down Ironside.

It even sounded like a gruffer/darker Diedrich Bader to me at one point.

So yeah I have no idea... put I'll throw a vote in for Miguel Ferrer.

I figured it wasn't going to stick around for long...

I hope this means a press release is soon on its way.

    Darn, I missed it.

But thanks for those screengrabs. At least the designs, and possibly the animation, look really good.

If it is Miguel Ferrer, I would not have a problem with that at all. He's a great actor, and he has a great voice which would work well for the Dark Knight.

Terrible voice acting aside, I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. The art design is a bit more Year One than I was expecting.

Sweet, thanks for managing to get in some grabs. The look of the movie looks great, initially it looks a bit more spot on to the comic's look than Year One.

Thanks for the screengrabs, Yojimbo. I can't wait to see this in motion with sound. It looks great.

I don't expect to see Selina Kyle as an old prostitute wearing a Wonder Woman outfit, but I hope we'll still be seeing The Joker and Superman in this.

You're welcome, Bat-Fan. I think I momentarily went cross eyed working on them The trailer was great. I think it just rendered the segment from TNBA obsolete, imo.

Joker should be appearing in Part One but not in a big role. I think Kyle and Superman don't appear until Book Three which is probably the first half of the second movie.

I have to say that the character designs look far better than I could have ever hoped for. I just hope that the voice acting matches it.

There was nothing terribly racy about the WW costume scene and it served a fairly important part of the plot (Selina informing the Bruce about the Joker) so I'd imagine it'd be in part 2, intact.

Being a two part film the whole thing should be about 2 and a half hours so they probably won't need to cut anything out for time, unless they cut it out for other reasons

Yes, a much better usage of designs rather than directly copying Miller's wonky artwork, which I've never been much fond of save Sin City.

But to be honest, I'm happy they kept in TDK Bruce's trademark brick chin.

    That's a lot of screengrabs!
    Impressive!
Thanks for all your hard work. I bet that was a strain on the ol' eyeballs.
It looks like they went all out on this one.
Too bad, I can't stand this story, at all.

Hopefully the next few releases will make up for the fact that they made TWO movies that I have to actively avoid.
