I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson
R.I.P. Batman: The Brave and the Bold - November 14, 2008 to November 18, 2011. May Beware The Batman strive to be even half as entertaining.
Can't wait to finally see Kaldur get some spotlight. Love him.
Starro is in this episode? Cool! Can't wait to see where this is going yet.
Lagoon Boy cameo!
And Garth isnt even Aquamans former sidekick? That sorta sucks. Seeing him makes me wish he were on the team. He would fill the magic quota.
Interesting Mera design.
That part in the begining where Batman had to save them... Robin seriously could not accomplish that same feat?![]()
"I will turn your name into a synonym for weakness"
"Politics always takes vengeance on those that belittle it"
"Perfection is nothing but a dead end"
Awesome episode. We saw Starro and TONS of other characters (check the character count), PLUS, we found out who Artemis is: Artemis Crock. *sigh* There goes all of our ideas. And, for the record...if Orm is there, who is Ocean Master in this continuity?

Thor on May 6th, 2011!
Green Lantern on June 17th, 2011!
Captain America: The First Avenger on July 22nd, 2010!
Easily the best episode to date in my opinion.

I liked how they had all the Flashes together, Jay Garrick!!
Is Aquaman the only Atlantian without magical powers?, whats up!?

Fantastic episode. This was an especially good episode, it actually felt like a movie despite it's half-hour length.
So many characters: the Aqua-family, Clayface, Starro, Ocean Master (more on him later), and a very awesome looking Black Manta.
And Artemis' name clearly revealed, being Artemis Crock which most of us guessed. Which I think is a GOOD thing. I prefer it when revelations make sense rather than twists just for the sake of shock value and surprising the fans.
And there were so many great little moments, like MM and Superboy in the kitchen and Bruce playing Basketball with Robin. Wouldn't have minded to actually see that...
As for Ocean Master, obviously Aquaman and co. don't know that Orm IS Ocean Master, and clearly Ocean Master was the silhouette that Black Manta was talking to in the end. So we now can safely assume "Ocean Master" is one of the members of "the Light", and that he's working secretly behind his brother's back. Which is awesome.
The fact that members of the Light were even aware and looking for Starro suggests one of it's members is probably extra-terrestrial. So Queen Bee probably, but maybe even Sinestro.
Great episode. It really highlighted everything that's great and unique about this series as apposed to past DC shows. It's the anti-thesis of Teen Titans, and I love it. It's not afraid to show the adult heroes intervene for the sake of the story, it's up front with who characters identities are, and it shows the heroes in their "off" time when they're not in hero mode and developing actual relationships with each other.

Forget this show. I want Aqualad: TAS.
All joking aside, this was a great episode. Atlantis looked amazing and there was so many great character moments. We finally found Aqualad's flaw, he's a hopeless romantic lol.
Loved the awkward moment with Red Tornado, and the Flash family segment, and the subtle nod to the multi-verse, and a ton of other things I can't remember right now.
Tonight's new episode of Young Justice focuses on the (current) leader, Aqualad!
*We see this version of Clayface (who doesn't appear to talk) for the 1st time.
*Batman chews Aqulad out and are young leader has apparently left someone behind...
*Atlantis is beautiful! The Atlantian language was quite creative too.
*Ocean Master, I remember he was Aquaman's brother in Justice League.
*Garth? I can't remember, was he the original Aqualad in the comics?
*Some quality time between Superboy and Miss Martian. I must admit that it was pretty cute and Red Tornado's "reaction" was priceless!
*We finally see Robin/Dick Grayson's eyes for the 1st time! We see Alfred (Jeff Benett, I presume) for the 1st time and the 2nd time we see Batman as Bruce Wayne.
*We see the West family (1st time in the show, having previously been seen in the comic spin-off) and we see Barry Allen out of costume for the 1st time. "Uncle Barry"? Does he mean actual uncle or uncle-like figure? I'm unfamiliar with their relation in the comics.
*Orm? I thought Orm was Ocean Master, unless he is hiding something from his brother...
*Who else figured what the "bad news" for Aqulad would be *raises hand*? Thoughts so.
*Whoa! Aquaman's wife is a great sorceress!
*We see Artemis out of costume and meet her mom for the 1st time. Good old Bruce has lend a helping hand.
*Oh yeah, it's Black Manta! Hmm, he suddenly reminds me of a certain character.Spoiler:
*Aww, Aqualad is such a good friend, great quality!
*As expected, Black Manta is in cahoots with "The Light". They have an impress roster so far...
Great episode! It was nice seeing the Justice League and Young Justice members during their "down time"!
One of the best episodes so far. Never expected Robin to be so strong by nearly destroying that wall. I know that Robin has fought Clayface before, but why was he upset that Batman only wanted to speak to Aqualad? It's established that Aqualad is leader and it's only right that Batman speak to him alone, especially after how disastrous the mission went. Plus Robin did mention he wouldn't want to be yelled at by Batman after a mission.
I loved the "Did you ever wonder what would have happened if you had become Aqualad moment?"
I was all like "Yeah, I'd kinda suck and be thought of as a joke!"
I LOVED the Tempest shout out! Since they've already given him the powerset, maybe they'll have him come back at a later date as Tempest?
The Clayface battle was NO simulation.
It says Gotham City in the beginning.
The edit/cut from that scene to Mt. Justice made it looked like a simulation.
Another Great Episode!!!
So far, ALL episodes are watchable and unskipable for me unlike JL/JLU.
I thought we did on The Batman starting with "Clayfaces." I think he had 3 or 4 appearances total.
Yes.
Barry Allen is married to Iris West, Wally West's aunt, she's Wally's father's sister.
