Any chance of a Supergirl apperance in Birds of Prey??..

    Like This Thread!
I wonder if they will have Supergirl make an appearence. Or by that matter any of the other female heroes or villians?

PS-Has any mention been made about Nightwing or Robin making an appearance?

    Supergirl?

From what I'm hearing there will be no sort of crossover between Superman characters and Batman ones, so Supergirl is probably very unlikely to appear on the show.

Power Girl would be interesting, but I don't know that Joe Average Viewer would take a character with that name very seriously.

I'd love to see Nightwing on the show. Heck, I'd like to see Nightwing in his OWN series. "Former teen sidekick grows up and goes it alone" -- I think that would be a great TV concept (and cheap on the effects!)

I think there are rights issues with certain characters; of course they got Harley Quinn, so who knows!

    And they would Black Canary?

Now, I could stand to see some Golden Age heroines like Phantom Lady or Liberty Belle (it all depends on how this is approached).

BTW, I love the sites, KryptonSite!

    Re: Ricochet

    Ricochet, thanks!! :-)

I guess I'm a hypocrite over what I'd like to see and what they could get away with. Like I loved the bit in the BOP comic where Barbara started a relationship with Ted Kord, the then-former Blue Beetle. That could/would be really funny to see on TV.

I really think Nightwing is a must for showing up.

But as for former heroines... what I'd like to see is to reveal that, like the comics, Black Canary's mother was a crimefighter... and was really the Black Canary we all know and love... fresh with an Oliver Queen as a father :-)

Woo-hoo! Craig representing Krypton Site! I am glad you decided to register, as your sites have gobs of info. TZ seems to be getting a lot of Smallville and Birds of Prey fans. I got more than 2000 views for that news post with only the Birds of Prey cast photo and a plug for Gotham Clock Tower!

I know you linked to it and I'm greatly appreciative of that!! :-) It was a record breaking day for the site -- actually, I had more hits for Gotham Clock Tower yesterday (a site about a show that's not even picked up yet!) than I had for KryptonSite yesterday (on a day that the show was on the air, which usually means more hits)

I love Toon Zone. You guys do an awesome job with it, and the graphic design especially is something to be very jealous of :-) The content, also, is awesome... I love how all genres of toons are covered... not just say Batman or Looney Tunes, but also, GI Joe, He-Man... even the Gary Coleman Show ;-)

Woah, thanks! Harley has a lot of involvement in the new layout of the site.

I guess Birds of Prey gets more attention than Smallville right now as it is in reruns.

The reruns may have something to do with it, but also, the fact that Birds has three very beautiful women can't hurt :-)

Case in point: KryptonSite's best hits ever were the day after "Nicodemus" aired and Kristin Kreuk (or her body double :-) ) was half naked. And this time last year, when Smallville was still in "development" and I interviewed executive producer Al Gough, the site barely pulled 1,000 hits... compare that to the 10,000 Gotham Clock Tower had yesterday :-)

10,000? If only I were that lucky!
