I'll start by saying that Red Tornado's design was pretty PERFECT. For once he doesn't look like a muscular human. He looks like a ROBOT. The way he should.

I'm confused.. do you mean simply because you feel he should resemble machinery rather than have a human-like form, or are you referring to source material accuracy? because in the comics, he resembles a human (anatomically) even more than any animated version of the character. it's how he was designed.

No, I know he looked like a human in comics aswell, I just think that since he's a robot it's a chance to make him look unique and not have the body of every other male League member.

That's the way you 'want' him to look, not the way he 'should' look.

In fiction robots look like a lot of things. Androids, which I'm sure Red Tornado is, are specifically designed to look at human as possible. That's why the Terminator was so deadly.

Okay, moving on...

I noticed in the recent clip, that even Batman is leery of four cold-based villains striking at various points on the same day. Wonder if this is an episodic plot or season long to tie in to that supervillain group that's being formed.

And with the statues, that I forget to look at, I wonder if those are the original 7 of the Justice League on this show. Probably.

P.S.- Also, Greg recently answered a question saying magic has rules. Therefore, magic will be explored in the show. Thus another mark of proving my theory of Zatanna being on the YJ team. And out of Starfire, Raven, Joker, Harley Quinn, and Zatanna, he said ATLEAST one would appear. AND he said that there would be a new member halfway through the season and he said that the choosing of Zatara over Zatanna would be shown halfway through the season.

I still think that Zatara will either die or retire to make room for Zatanna on the League itself. Think about it, he's the only one on the roster who's never served with them in the comics, while Zatanna is well long-time member of the League.

P.P.S.- I also think we can add Mia Dearden to the list of "Artemis" suspects.

Greg said it's not Mia a few months back.

I like have Robin not as the token emo boy as well, he's a 13 year old boy for cripe's sake. He doesn't need to be emotionally scarred.

I have to say, I'm not sure I'm going to bother with this one. Here's why:

How many versions of the JL do we have to have? I'm kind of tired of it. Plus, how many more young DC teams do we need? It seems not only repetitive of the recent DC series, but also of the DTVs. The whole look and feel just feels stale.

And above all, I was a big fan of the Young Justice comic series. I have almost every issue, and this does not feel like the comic book. Why couldn't they use Todd Nauck's designs and art style? Like, what's up w/ Superboy's design? The second YJ Superboy design was so cool. And why is it Kid Flash and not Impulse? The comic book Robin was also a much better design. The look feels too much like a DCU dtv, and not fun and slightly cartoony like the comic book. I dont know, maybe one day I'll give it a look, but I'm already bored with it.

To be fair we only had one show about young DC heroes. If you think is repitive of the DTVs, it's probably because they used the same character designer for the only DTV that featured the modern Justice League, so I definitely see where'd you get a déjà vu vibe from that and this. They're also using the same Voice Actor for Batman from Under The Red Hood. I don't know if you're not already watching, but if you want something that's not stale and more cartoony, I'd suggest watching The Brave and The Bold it's one of the most fun shows I've ever seen while still being able to pull off serious moments when it needs to. As for Young Justice I recommend you at least check out the pilot before you write the series off as stale.

As for why it's not like the comic book, if it were it'd be way to similar to Teen Titans and then it would really be stale and somewhat repetitive.

With Cheshire being in the show, and Roy becoming Red Arrow, I think it's possible for Cheshire to talk Roy into killing Oliver.

It is also possible, seeing as how this is an alternate universe for Cheshire to be on the Young Justice team.

I highly doubt they'd go that route and have Roy kill Ollie. That would just make Roy look like a bitter, gullible jerk. As for Cheshire joining the team, that's a possibility but I doubt that would happen too. Even though this is technically an alternate universe all the characters all look like they're gonna be similar to the main universe. Obviously they're gonna do stuff differently but I don't see them taking such a departure by having Roy do in Ollie or Cheshire join the team, since there's already a lot of villain turned hero characters they could use for such a storyline.

I believe it'll lead into something more serial, I think Greg said something about the villains teaming up or getting smarter and forming their own black ops unit, or something like that.

He's also pretty bot-like in Batb though, gotta say. But DCAU has corrupted my impression of him forever. I think Red Tornado and I think 'Soo-Wee'. Comics incarnation wise... I think he's always kinda just looked like a red human though. Not sure on this.

Yeah you're right it's 7 members and probably the original 7 as well since it's the exact same founding team from the comics (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash [Barry Allen], Green Lantern [Hal Jordan] Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter).

Not until now, thanks for pointing that one out. I prefer the shorter hair when using the classic design so I'm glad they gave the guy a haircut.

on the whole Reddy controversy, the only time i've seen him is in a few YJ comics i've read, so i don't really care how he looks. it's not like he's one of the MAIN-MAIN charecters, you know? Making him more robot-y isn't like making robin's tights hot pink i'm not seeing why this is a major controversy.

Roy probably isn't going to do more than punch Ollie in the face in regaurds to the whole 'Speedy's gonna kill GA' thing. Besides, even if he did, do you really think nobody would notice? Batman would probably look at him for a split second and be all, "Get in the Batmobile, murderer."

I wonder if they're going to use Roy's drug addiction in the show. If this is supposed to be present day, this is a real life problem... and that'd make for a hellova good show

I remember when that writer hinted that his first episode was about Secret. And then on Greg's Q&A site he did a run-down on who was writing what episode. If we could get that writer's name and that link from Greg we can pin-point exactly when Secret will be brought into the show.

In the final issue of Young Justice, Darkseid stripped her of her powers. She showed up in an early issue of the current Teen Titans series (she goes to the same school as Wonder Girl and the retired Arrowette). She makes the occasional cameo every now and then.
