Cool article. The Beyond intro is still my favorite of all the DCAU shows. I wonder if there's a way to make that my ringtone![]()
For those who haven't checked out Toon Zone's newish Blog (do so!), you may have missed out on a post by Harley (aka Eileen) detailing the unique and overall coolness of the Batman Beyond intro. Perhaps some information you may or may not have read, but either way it's solid fodder for discussion here. Check it out by hitting the image below!

My unabashed love for Batman Beyond has nothing to do with my pimping this out. Honest.

Amazing intro, lame blog post, no offence but it didn't really tell us anything new, like the thread led me to believe.
Uh, well, it's about why the Batman Beyond intro is all kinds of awesome, I don't think anyone promised the revelation of mysterious and completely unknown secrets.I actually didn't know details about how Timm went about things and stuff like that, does it get talked about on DVD release extras or something?
I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson
No offense taken. That wasn't its intent. The CICs are meant to highlight an intro that is particularly well done. That one was.e to admit, the back story to that one is as impressive as the opening itself.
I'd be happy to update that post with more info, should you have insight to the BB intro that I am not aware of.
