I wish we could make this the DC JLU Animated Figure Talkback Thread, because I'm often really confused when folks reference characters that aren't in this line...example: Who or What is "The Wall"?

I'm very, very pleased to see an Amanda Waller figure coming out. I do suspect it'll be a SDCC exclusive for 09, as Target wouldn't want to get stuck with a bunch of her warming the pegs...but then again, maybe they will make a 6 pack. They've already got Capt Atom, Galatea, Doomsday and Superman. Add Amanda to that mix with a professor Hamilton figure, and I think fans would be very, very pleased.

But I'm pleased anyway. AS LONG AS THE FIGURE CAN STAND ON ITS OWN.

If she's as flimsy as most of the other figures in this line, she'll be falling over constantly, and that's annoying.

    But good job Mattel!

Unfortunately, in this case if your wish were granted, it still wouldn't help you.

    "The Wall" =

The last thing I could see helping sales of an action figure of an overweight civilian lady in a business skirt is the addition of a figure of a middle-aged, bespectacled dude in a lab coat...

Yeah I know...but it couldn't hurt to be optimistic at a time like this.

Following up on what Disneyboy said. I have been away from the fig collecting for a few months. What is new or coming out for the Justice League Unlimited figs? Not the large or small ones. The 4" ones.

    Thanks!!!

    Thanks!!!
This year there are going to be three packs including:
    1) Warhawk, Batman Beyond, BB Bruce Wayne
    2) Green Lanter (Justice League era-John), Dr Fate, Parasite
    3) Booster Gold, Superwoman, Ultraman (the last two are Earth-3's version of WW and Superman)
There are 3 other 3 packs previewed, but these were the only ones that I wanted, so I forgot the rest. :P There are also more that haven't been previewed yet.

    Individuals include:
    1) Gotham City Villains: Harley Quinn, Bane, Scarecrow, Clock King
    2) Fan Favorite Variants: Superman (black uniform with red S-shield,), Batman (uniform of Adam West Batman colour scheme), Sinestro Corps (Sinestro in Sinestro Corps uniform)
There are also others that haven't been previewed yet.

    4 packs:
There will be one 4 pack per season. The only one previewed was the Gotham City Villains set, which leads me to believe they will simply the individuals collected in sets.

6 packs: No news yet, but a rumor has started that there will be Gotham City set, consisting of the Gotham City Villains individuals, as well as Batman Beyond and BB Bruce Wayne.

Mattel has the Gotham villains on their site. They're selling them all together.

Yeah, it's also one of the 4 packs. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=10&itemid=13851 has info on this year's stuff.

    So this year there are:
    20 singles
    8 3-packs
    4 6-packs (release date similar to 2008's)
    4 4-packs
    1 Convention Exclusive (Amanda Waller)

Technically though, can we consider the Gotham Villains a 4-pack if they're all individually carded? Is it a 4-pack just cuz they're sold together, or do they have to all be in the same plastic packaging together?

I don't even get why they're all in single packs. If Mattel only intended to distribute them on-line in one big bunch, why go to all the trouble?

Also, I REEEEALLY want Sinestro Corps Sinestro, but all the figures I can find of him have atrocious paint jobs on his left shoulder. Is this a limited problem or do all of his figures have fudgy yellow paint?

EDIT: I was bored so I decided to snap a photo of the Justice League section of my toy shelf. I had a Batman but he randomly broke apart at the torso. (And the Bane figure hasn't even been released yet so he can't take the credit this time.)

The Gotham Villains are being released seperately AND in a 4-pack, so I'm assuming they come in a big plastic box of some kind for the 4-pack.

I also want Sinestro Corps Sinestro. I just ordered a 3-pack including Superman, Wonder Woman and Etrigan, as well as Darkseid, Orion, and Mr Miracle. Next time I order something, I'll be getting Bizarro and Sinestro Corps.

Nope. The Mattel site says they are four individually carded figures "bundled together in one outer slip case." Remove the slip case and it is four figures.

Thanks for the info. I am curious. While I appreciate them releasing new figures. Why are they releasing Ultraman....When their are so many more characters that were seen more often? For example Toyman, Livewire & Tala.

Also, I know we got some 3-packs in '08 (ie-Question). Were their any new individual and 6-packs (besides the Apocalypse)?

    ps-WE NEED A DR.MID-NITE FIGURE!!!

I have nothing to base this on, but I think Ultraman and Superwoman are to promote the Worlds Collide DTV. Worlds Collide is supposed to have the Crime Syndicate in it. It seems random for the Crime Syndicate to have toys if they've never appeared in the DCAU and if they're not part of the Fan Favorite Collection.

At least we are getting some different figures....also, who knows what we will get next as far as i'm ocncerned its only a matter of time for those you mentioned to be made in to plastic.

The only individual packs we got that can be considered new were Stargirl with the staff, Hawkman with the mace, Sinestro Corps Sinestro etc.

WHere have you been with the 6 packs lol, They released to brand new ones, a JL one with Commander Steel, Vibe, Bwana Beast, Crimson Fox, and Deadman and a Secret Society Pack with Atomic Skull, KGBeast, Silver Banshee, the Key, Shadow Thief

IMO, We really need the Justice Guild, Mongul, Manhunter Robot, White Imperium Invaders, and many more before the comic based repaints,

As much as I agree with you and I'd like those made before the Crime Syndicate, I don't see this line as a JL/JLU line anymore. It's a collectors line and it's starting to become more of a Bruce Timm style line rather than a pure JL/JLU line. Which is great because who knows what we will get. But it stinks at the same time bc we will prob miss out on characters like the ones you mentioned or at least have to wait awhile for them to be made. Just how I see it though.

So is Mattel ever going to give us a The Batman version of Green Arrow, or are we all pretty much stuck with only having 6 of the members of the JL? I'll even take one in BatB packaging.

Speaking of BatB, can't we just get a normal Blue Beatle without gimmicks and holes in his shoulders?

I haven't seen them at my local Target. And I am usually their daily.

If anyone has seen either of these sets and can pick one up for me. Please PM me. Are they still available??

The toys are never distributed everywhere all at the same time. Some areas, including mine, are still without those 6-packs.
