JLA costumes
I'm sorry to say, but I'm disappointed with the Batman and Green Lantern costume. Green Lantern would've/could've used the more green design, and Batman (nuff said).
But at least they aren't all wearing the same costumes like in the X-Men movie, right?
I'm reminded of this time long ago when soemone was bickering about the AVENGERS cartoon. They'd say it was such crap. Why not put Thor? And Hulk? and Iron Man? and Captian America? Because they are too cool? That's why? And they'd disytract fromt he other characters? Then some dude said that if DC made a JLA cartoon, it'd rock. That they'd have the best super heroes in the line up and they'd have their original costumes. Man, that guy was right. I'm glad he was right.

Re: JLA costumes
I don't care for the new Batman and GL designs either.
I really liked the TNBA design. I thing they should have just used that design and rounded him out. Like putting BTAS-Bruce in the TNBA bat-suit. There's mt ideal Batman. This design looks like a lame version of Kane's original. And the fact that Batman has been "slimmed down" coupled with the extra long earsmakes him look like a wanna-be playin' dress-up.
As for GL. I like the Kyle Rayner costume, with the silver chest plate, Robo-Robin style mask and armored gloves and boots with the Knee & elbow guards. That design is excellent. Like half-way between the original Jordan/GL design and Magneto. Perfect. Just perfect. This design is too simple for my taste.
I'd also like Wonder Woman to be bulkier. This version is built like Lois Lane.
On a positive note. Superman has never looked better. And MM looks fine. It was a good idea to make him grey rather than green. I can't say I love the Hawk Girl design. But for a character named Hawk Girl, I guess that's as good as she can look.

Wonder woman should've been more of a hottie.

Costumes
I'm still torn on Batman's suit. Now that I think of it, they coulda been subconsciously leading to that costume, given the big ears Batman had in THE DEMON REBORN. I know it's likely just a coincidence. His ears were very uneven in that episode. I really dig Superman's more "mature" look. It definatly shows the evolution of these characters. And the ghostly MM is just so dang sweet lookin'!

Not too keen on Bat's ears either, but I'll probably get used to it the way I've gotten used to the TNBA style. They probably were leading to the big ears progression from DEMON REBORN. And then decided to stick with it after the success of Batman beyond.
The thing that bothers me about GL's costume are the green boots. They shoulda kept the Kyle Rayner design without the boots.
It's kinda funny how two little wrinkles makes Superman that much better.

I like the new Bats design. I'll have to see it in motion before I make a final call on it, but I'm a big fan of the big ears, and I think its pretty cool that they went with a retro look for him.

GL looks great! And finally a non-skateboarding/non-"in-the-groove" black superheroe regularly on tv...
(sorry, Americans say 'African-American', don't they? it's just ridiculous
)

Agreed. (a little off-topic)

I agree, especially since every black person I know prefer to be called black, if they must have a label assigned to them. Most of them are not African nor American for that matter.
Interesting language trait, no? Take it from an "Asian-American" who isn't an American.
