Any word on Batman Beyond returning to TV?

I've been paying a higher satellite programming package solely because Boomerang had been airing DCAU eps. I'm considering downgrading my service and giving up Boomerang, but I wanted to make sure there were no plans for Batman Beyond to return to the channel before I do so. Anyone heard anything?

As far as I know, Boomerang has no plans of re-airing Batman Beyond at this time.

Dangit! Well, I guess I should be happy that I can save a few bucks. Any word if it will re-air on another network?

I personally haven't heard anything about BB airing on another channel, but anything is possible.

Sorry to ask but wouldnt be cheaper to just buy the box sets than paying a monthly adittional suscription to get boomerang?

For anyone wanting a Batman Beyond fix, buying the DVDs would be a much more feasible plan, especially since Batman Beyond doesn't air on Boomerang. The only DCAU series which currently airs on Boom is Justice League Unlimited.

I'd keep my eye on Toon Disney, unless Boomerang's rights haven't expired yet.

Boomerang is an extra $5 measly bucks a month on Dish Network in my area...why not keep it? It has sooooo much other good stuff. Hell I blow $5 a day on coffee, bottled water and softdrinks. Boomerang is a keeper. If you want to save money on cable/satellite fees get rid of the "Oprah channels" or something other than Boomerang that you don't watch.

Batman Beyond is very important though...I suggest curing your fix by buying the box sets.

The complete Batman Beyond series run is available on amazon for $99. Return of the Joker uncut is another $4.98. This is, seriously, the way to go if you are needing a "Beyond" fix.

Yeah, that definitely sound like a better option than getting another channel like Boomerang in case they air the series for some reason. Besides that, owning the DVDs would not only be less expensive, but you watch any episode any time you wanted to without having to depend on the channel to air them.
