Bruce & Babs as a couple. Any hints?

I kinda remember there being hintage in that Batwoman movie.

Babs was in college or something and had called Bruce to chat with him about the Batwoman she kept hearing about.

I remember the discussion implied that they were dating...because later on in the movie I remember being angry with Bruce for starting up a relationship with one of the Batwomen and thinking he was cheating on Babs and she didn't even know it.

I don't know if I just misunderstood the converstaion between Babs and Bruce on the phone (maybe it was just a one-sided thing with Babs again...).

Not only that, but Bats himself seemed to be protective of her to the degree that he got a little touchy feely. There was some of that in "Mean Seasons" as well.

I haven't watched BB so BRUCE & BABS?! Seems wrong to me, for one thing, isn't she too young for Bruce? I remember her have a little school girl crush but that was it. Wasn't she with Dick? For me that is how it should be, her and Dick. Personally, I always thought Bruce's true love to be Selina, but that was only my opinion.

Anyway, we know from Batman Beyond that nothing becomes of it. Babs eventually catches Jungle Fever and marries some black dude. (BTW, that was NOT meant to be a racist statement. I have absolutely no problem with interracial dating or marriage. Being mixed myself, there's no way I could be prejudiced against anyone.)

I think basically in Mystery of the Batwoman it was implied they had, had some sort of relationship. I reckon Bruce just gave her one when he got to lonely around the batcave.

Technically Bruce and Babs are the same generation, since in the episode where Gordon gets shot, Bruce mentions that his dad would've been the same age as Gordon. Gordon just had his daughter really late.

There was a long-ass discussion thread about this which involded Old Maid and alexweisman. They go into very deeply and raise the psychological aspect about it. I mean, it's all but flat out stated that Barbara was crushing on Batman for some time, but I never would have imagined Bruce to reciprocate her affections.
