Wouldn't it be cool if Paul Dini does "Bat-mite vs Mr Mxyzptlk"?

It is indeed a real comic. You'd have to do some searching, methinks, to find it. Or you could order it online if it's available.

Of DCAU note: the book follows Batmite and Mxy as they travel through (and destroy) countless universes in DC lore, one of which being the DCAU. b.t. provided the two pages of that section, done in storyboard form.

That's really cool. You can even see DCAU Batman's head at the very bottom of the pile.

    Or take my copy :-p

I read this one; some of it was amusing, but a lot of it felt tedious/repetitive to me (or I didn't buy fully buy it, even for Mxy/Bat-Mite---
    Spoiler:
they had the power to blow up Heaven/the entire fifth dimension/etc.? Whatever...
    ).

    To be fair...

    Spoiler:
...one could practically claim that the entire storyline is just Mxy and Batmite messing around in their own powerful imaginations. Perhaps nothing actually happened at all.

Ultimately, though, it's just a comment on that all-powerful imp thing they have. If they're as powerful as defined, they could do whatever the hell they wanted.

World's Funnest is also good because it gives the answer to the Anti-Life Equation.

I'd like to see Mr. Mxyzptlk vs. Bat-Mite done in animation, it'd be fun. And wasn't Bat-Mite a recurring character on the old Batman cartoon? I'd want them to have Gilbert Gottfried as Mxy and either Bobcat Golthwait or Wayne Knight as Bat-Mite.

He was, but he was annoying and all he could do was teleport and cause trouble. The arch-villain Zarbor, on the other hand, was closer in power to the Bat-Mite we all know and love.

Eh I would like at the very least a short special where Mxyzptlk and Bat-mite team up and destroy Larry, the dimension altering Robin fanboy little imp from Teen Tians. Like one of those five minute long things. I don't know if a full on special would work between the two though. Without feeling you know too padded, espically if the comic book it came from felt padded.
Instead of just using this new signature to celebrate a thousand more post, let me list of all the great things you can expect of me on this board for 2012:

...... The same talkbacks you saw me do last year but with new episodes.

.... What are you doing still reading this? Move to the next post already! .

If WB does decide to make Bat-Mite vs. Mxyzptlk a short cartoon, it will be fun, but I have not read the comic book, I'm sure it's funny as well.
