Why neither of the real ZOOMS never show up?

As close we came to seeing zoom is a roboclone in davided we fall. Hes a good viallin in the flash comics. So why no zoom?

Reverse Flash was a nice bit in "Divided We Fall"

Unfortunately, they decided not to use him in "A Better World" because the producers didn't believe Flash could become a fascist, therefore they decided he'd better serve the story if he were deceased.

I don't know much about Reverse Flash aka Prof. Zoom. Perhaps if they produce a Flash DTV, he'll be featured.

The DCAU Flash has been severed from the "Flash legacy" that exists in the books, making our Wally the only speedster around. The Reverse-Flash is the villain that most represents that legacy, so it's no wonder they didn't bring him in. Think about it: they've got a Wally West that exists with no Barry Allen coming before him. Eobard Thawne wouldn't be effective as Wally's enemy, and Hunter Zolomon wouldn't exist without Thawne before him.

Of course, they could've just done something very, very different with the character. Ultimately, they just never got to it.

Not completely. Though it's not dwelled upon, there is a Jay Garrick helmet and a Kid Flash costume on display in 'Flash and Substance'. But the point's moot - it's hard to think of a way in which Zoom could factor in to a JLU episode.

Yeah, after I posted that, I remembered that Flash and Substance had a lot of references. Still, it's not like anybody else in the hero business ever mentions former Flashes. It's like everybody's laboring under the Spectre's memory alteration from the Johns run. There seems to be a legacy on the sidelines, but nobody knows about it, even Wally.

I guess your right alex. Maybe they could have drew up a char and base his desgine off the zoom like they did whit supergirl`s clone.

In JLU tons of heroes and Villians appeared with no backstory whatsoever, it wouldn't have been weird to just show Zoom without explaining his origin either.

Shame we never saw him, at least we got a robot zoom...
