You've ever played "Watchtower" with ants and a magnifying glass.

You refuse Halloween candy to any child who comes to your door dressed as Batman and can't solve the Riddle of the Minotaur.

There's a copy of Bruce Timm's "Naughty and Nice" hidden in your closet where a stack of Playboys used to be.

You refer to Jeffrey Combs as "The voice of the Question...", and to the rest of his extensive television and movie career as "...and some other stuff."

Note that Katie Cassidy is cast as Black Canary in a CW pilot, think the cartoon version is "way hotter."

Saw The Dark Knight, thought it would have been better with a Kevin Conroy voice-over.

Dump your girlfriend for suggesting Superman would win in a fight, even though you've mapped at least nine scenarios where Batman is the victor.

...when you insist that "Justice League: Crisis on 2 Earths" really is part of the DCAU and try way too hard to think of reasons for why Hal Jordan is there instead of John Stewart and try way too hard to explain away why Martian Manhunter doesn't retain his black costume into JLU.

    To follow up on this...

...when you get enraged at "those crazy kids" thinking TDK Joker is the definite Joker when "back in your day", he actually got his skin bleached from falling into acid, instead of cheap makeup. =P

You've ever looked up at a missing shingle on your roof and said, "I'm going to need a longer grapple."

When people ask, "What hero would you be?", you invariably answer, "The Flash." It may be impossible to pick a favorite, but we all know what happens in a world without a Flash...

You cringe when you hear the phrase, "This is a job for Superman!", because you never, never wanna let Superman take charge.

Given a minute or so, you could have guessed the combination to Lord Batman's prison for Batman.

You still refer to Superman: TAS as "the new stuff".

Whenever someone asks a "Who would win in a fight...?" question, you answer, "Batman" before either option is given.

You don't get references to General Zod. "General who? Kneel before what now? Oh, you mean Jax-ur...but he's a scientist..."

You have a hard time picturing Michael Rosenbaum bald. Hell, you have a hard enough time picturing him without lightning bolts coming out of his ears.

You build a server in your basement that hosts every episode of every animated series Bruce Timm or Paul Dini had anything to do with, such that any one is instantly available to you at every tv in the house, and wherever there's a PC, Ipad, or Android tablet with an internet connection. Yet, you still arrange the DVDs on your shelf, in alphabetical order, "just for show".

    The server's name is Watchtower.

The server knows its name is Watchtower.

Whenever you watch The Highlander, you secretly posit that it was the sorceress Tala that put Lex Luthor in the body of a giant, claymore-weilding barbarian immortal.

You can cite at least three ways any Javelin is technically superior to a Quinjet.

Whenever your toilet is flushed, a disembodied feminine computer voice announces, "Recognize: General Glory."

You've ever penned an angry letter to Stan Berkowitz about how a third-rate nobody like Copperhead could never have gotten the better of The World's Greatest Detective.

If after assuring your 4-year-old several times that there is no such thing as a stupid question, you've ever sent them to their room for not knowing who Nightwing is.

You regularly spout "I am vengeance! l am the night!"

You pick up one of the recent DC Comics Animated Movies just because one or more of the voice cast reprises their roles from the shows.

And Newbern appeared on "Grey's Anatomy", same as fellow DCAU Superman voice actor Tim Daly, and later Newbern appeared on "Private Practice" which also stars Daly.

When talking US presidents, you refer to Clinton as "the fun one" and, inexplicably, George W. Bush as "the boring one".

I actually do sometimes refer to BTAS as "The Old Batman Cartoon" and TNBA as "The New Stuff".

I was extremely tempted to respond to the 2006 post about Lost concerning Paul Dini and Daniel Dae Kim and include Clancy Brown, who was in a few episodes of that show.
"And until we meet again boys and girls, know that wherever evil lurks in all its myriad forms, I'll be there with the hammers of justice to fight for decency and defend the innocent. Goodnight." - Batman
