I hope a thread like this has not been created already, its such a bother to research when u're trying to make a new thread, and u feel that this new thread I'm going to start might be created already.

Anyways I think Justice Leage's show opening theme is much better than the Teen Titans one because the song featured in Teen Titans intro is so child-like ( I feel its childlish)and the intro just seems boring to me in one or the other way.

Well I think Justice League because I liked the way the the show's opening theme was done and the style in which every character was shown. Conclusion of the intro was also very good . Not Teen Titans because I didn't liked its' music.
And I do hope this thread has not been created already.

It's apples and oranges; it's impossible to compare the two, because they're so radically different. The theme tunes reflect the shows. Justice League has a mighty, booming, powerful theme, which is fitting for the epic battles and stories that go on in the show. The Teen Titans theme is light, fast and yes, is quite childlike in the lyrics and tune, much like the show itself, which never takes itself too seriously and is always simply fun.

Apples and oranges I agree. This may be sort of a "which show is better: JL or TT?" type of question. Their intros reflects the mood and kind of show they are so it all comes full circle in my opinion. Anyway, for me its JL since its mor epic, classical and innovative.

    Howdy,

I like the intro to Teen Titans more than either Justice League or JLU. While the two shows are attempting entirely different things, I think you can still compare them on how well they achieve what they aimed for and how fitting each one is for the show.

First and foremost, I love the Teen Titans theme song. If their goal was to make a hummable bit of pop culture fluff that would get stuck in your head and stay there, then they succeeded admirably. Fortunately, I don't get annoyed when the TT theme song gets stuck in my head on a loop (as opposed to something like Sheryl Crow). That theme song gets you pumped.

The other thing that the intro achieves is a very high sense of motion and a brief depiction of everybody's powers. Plus, they'd play the theme song in Japanese if it was a particularly weird episode -- "Mad Mod" was the first to do this, and the "Larry the Titan" episode was where I think I finally made the connection. That was a simple, subtle trick that would help set expectations for the show if the teaser segment before it didn't manage to achieve that. Heck, I even like the ending credits music, with the chunky electric guitar stomping in the background as Puffy Ami Yumi just spell the name of the team and shout, "Let's Go!"

It might have been kiddie, but the show was geared for kids even more than either Justice League, so I can't exactly fault them for that. On the whole, I think the intro fits the tone of the show perfectly.

On the other hand, the intro to Justice League had a decent theme, which gave a sense of majesty and epic scale, and it attempts the same trick of showing the heroes' powers before the episode starts. However, the sequence itself isn't as effective, partially because nobody's powers are easy to show fully in a few seconds. It gets worse because the CGI used makes everybody look slow and jerky -- the Wonder Woman bullet deflection doesn't quite crackle the way it ought to, but the Flash looks slow and Hawkgirl gets shortchanged entirely. To be fair, though, I thought J'onn's intro was wicked cool, and GL's had a kind of spare beauty to it that's rather striking. It's not a BAD intro, but it's definitely not as effective as the intros I had gotten used to for the original BTAS, Batman Beyond, STAS, or the combo intro for TNBSA.

The intro to JLU is a definite step up, but still falls short, IMO, mostly because the theme song isn't quite as catchy to my ears. However, it neatly avoids the jerky CGI and replaces it with static images and camera tricks, plus clips from the upcoming episode. The approach gives it a lot more verve and pep once it's combined with the far faster-paced theme song.

The final test? I have never sat through an intro to either JL series if I was watching on tape or DVD. Even though I've seen it dozens of times by now, I still like sitting through the Teen Titans intro sequence occasionally.

As intros go, for me its TT, JL, and JLU, in that order. I'm not a huge Teen Titans fan, but that intro was just superb.

TT has such a creative and artistic opening that I vote for that. JL's music is great, but the visuals were uneven (Flash and MM are superb! Supes and Batman looked weird). Titans is more experimental and consistent.

The Titans was better for the music alone.

Well, I'm going to step in and be the first to say I think the JL and JLU music was better. I can't explain why, I just like the song much better. For me the TT song really grates. I'm not trying to insult TT or anything, but I'm just not a fan of the theme song. So my order goes

    JL
    JLU
    TT
I made a promise on the grave of my parents to rid
this city of the evil that took their lives. By day I
am Bruce Wayne, billionaire philanthropist. At night,
criminals, a cowardly and superstitious lot, call me... Batman

Sorry, I couldn't let it go by - rarely. Not never, rarely. Anyway, Justice League. The theme music never really caught on with me, and Terra should've been added temporarily in season two. JL, on the other and... that opening shot. Wow. And I like how Batman, if you pay attention, actually fakes out whoever he's throwing the Batarang at.

I'm somewhat tolerant of J-Pop. One of my best college friends was into acts such as Speed, Amuro Namie, Hamasaki Ayumi, etc., and I didn't exactly cringe at the sound of their songs. I was also a huge anime fan in college and helped found our Uni's anime club, so I'm perhaps more accustomed than most to J-Pop. That said, I can't stand the Teen Titans theme song. That alone makes me prefer the JL and JLU intros.

I really like the orginal JL theme, coupled with a orginal opening that doesn't use clips from the show and its in my top three DCAU openings. (Batman TAS, BB, and JL) While I didn't really care for the TT theme it was very catchy and fit the show. I also like how they attached the japan version of the song to the episodes that were well extra childish.
