That was a great interview, it makes me want a ZP DVD set released all the more.
An all-new interview with Robert Goodman has been added to the The World's Finest's The Zeta Project sub-site. In it, he discusses the series finale of the cult animated series, the plans for the future, and his overall thoughts on the characters and the series.

b.t. if there IS a fourth JLU season I order you to let Robert Goodman do a Zeta episode. This is not a request.
Edit: How can Robert Goodman possibly think the series could ever return? There's optimism and then there's wishful thinking. I hope this is a case of the former. If the live-action movie DOES get made I would love it if CN ordered more episodes. I wonder if he knows something we don't.
Remember b.t., free kidney if you need it. You know what to do.

Well, it took ten years, but Gargoyles is coming back.Granted, it's in a comic, rather than a TV show, but persistence can pay off.Originally Posted by Fone Bone

Gargoyles ran for more than two times more episodes and had a solid fan base that had conventions every years. Unless there are yearly Zeta conventions I'm missing I'm betting his best shot for a Zeta comeback is if the live-action movie actually gets made. And that's a big if.Originally Posted by Lightshade

its nice he still has hope for the show to go on and lots of ideas laid out for it if the time comesI'm glad he disavowed the lovers relationship between Zee & Ro to I never saw where people got that idea from

While nothing is official, I wouldn't get too far ahead of myself with that one. We'll just have to see how it all pans out. If it gets that far, what would you like to see them do with Zeta?Originally Posted by Fone Bone
Nice interview, Jim.
I want him to be a future member of the JLU. He couldn't be a member unless he was cleared and stopped running but at the same time they don't have to give details as to the how so Mr. Goodman could still finish the story the way he wanted to if he ever gets the chance. That sounds like a fair compromise to me.Originally Posted by The Flash

Way cool Fone Bone! I'd love for Zeta to become a member of the future JLU, that would be really cool. Poor Zeta and Ro, trapped forever in limbo. I hope it comes out on DVD.![]()
That does sound fair. At first sight, you might say having a sentient robot join the JLU as crazy and far fetched. But look at the current roster, and we have Red Tornado (sentient by different means but in the general sense they are similar). Reading that interview made me wonder what Selig's next mission for Zeta would have been. Quite frankly, we can't have Zeta being chased around by the fed's forever and ever.Originally Posted by Fone Bone
