Hmm, so JL season one reruns are returning to Cartoon Network.

    Like This Thread!
This is for anyone who hasn't seen the thread down in Toonami.

On August 5th, They will air "Secret Origins" in it's entirety, starting at 2:00 am eastern. (making it August 6th, technically.)

Will the rest of the season follow after that? Time will tell.

Well, that's one beef people can stop complaining about... for now.

CN should have the decency to show everything in widescreen since it's airing that late anyway.

The one possible raincloud would be complaining that this would keep Justice League from season sets more, but that would be ignoring the fact that the show is far from getting season sets anyway. So, I don't have a complaint with this.

Now, if Cartoon Network could only stop showing those other shows I despise, I'd be really happy.

That was my first thought when I saw this thread.

As long as they air the rest of the episodes that will be great, even with the horrible time slot. Though since I have the first what half of JL season 1 on DVD already this isn't a major thing for me.

cool. since we have no dvd sets, i would hope they would show season 1 & 2 in their entirety. back when they still were showing them i didnt really have the time to watch, and i would only catch episodes sporadically.

I hope they show all of season one and two.

Also, I was in pretty much the same predicament as DarkKnight with season two. I'd only catch episodes sporadically. I never did see "Comfort and Joy" or all of "Wild Cards".

You know I wonder why JLU doesn't have any daily reruns I mean it has enough episodes.

Yeah i was wondering the exact samething, they show Teen Titans reruns like the Show is God or something

maybe it's because JL isn't popular enough or something

If they're planning to air "Justice League" from the begining, they should air in widescreen format.

PS. Same thing with possible box set releases in the future.

That sounds like the majority of the people who will watch the episodes at that timeslot anyway who own a TIVO. I don't quit get what demographic CN is reaching for by playing the movie at that timeslot. Usually JL is, for what, 8-14 so shouldn't it air in the afternoon?

    Info on JL Re-runs

Here is some information found a website for cable tv programmers: It does seem to indicate 90 minutes of Justice League each week, and the titles are Season 1 titles (ex: Injustice For All is listed for 8/27). A great chance for people new to JLU to see classic JL. Thanks Cartoon Network!! Call your cable company and see if they have "DVR" (Digital Video Recorders) available...every bit as good as TIVO!

    Boomerang has Superman & Batman

I think this has been mentioned, but Boomerang is showing the "Batman: TAS" & "Superman: TAS" also every night back-to-back at 12a & 12:30a, with a Marathon in August. Episodes scheduled include "Knight Time" from Superman, and "The World's Finest" 3-part team-up of Superman & Batman! AND our cable system is adding Boomerang next week!!

That's great news. I haven't seen old JL in some time, and given everything that's happened on the show so far, it'll almost feel nostalgic
