JLU - what new faces do you want to see?

I apologize if this topic has been discussed already, but I've been avoiding this forum, trying not to see comments about episodes that haven't aired yet.

So, who would you like to see in the next season that we have not seen yet? Me?

An episode featuring the Seven Soldiers of victory members - We have Crimson Avenger, Green Arrow, Shining Knight, Vigilate, Star Spangled Kid (Stargirl) & Stripesy (STRIPE). All that is missing is Speedy. Maybe the writers could pick a seventh - Huntress?

More exposure of characters that haven't been used yet, like Fire, Ice, Dr. Light, the Ray, Rocket Red, Red Tornado, etc.

The JSA - Other than Wildcat, they've been background material.

A few new faces, namely Firestorm. And Blue Beetle & Plastic Man if they become available.

Dr. Light. Just give her a featured episode, and I'll be happy. Beyond Dr. Light, I'd like to see more of Fire & Ice as well.

I may be wrong here, but if the Speedy you reference is the same Speedy who has made some appearances on Teen Titans (see episode Titans East), he might be off limits to JLU just like Robin.

We need to see those who made a major contribution to the League. To my mind, Red Tornado deserves a helluva lot better role than pig calling.

And they really should do a Hawkman at some point, even if it's a reformed Hro Talak.

For villains, lets try Prometheus, the Grey Man, and the Key (though they may have to alter the latter's powers to differentiate him from Dr. Dee). And if they do a comedic episode (with a JLU composed of Flash, Eloganted Man, Booster Gold and maybe J'onn to serve as their straight man), then all hail Manga Khan! :-)

Nemesis, Firestorm, Waverider, Captain Marvel, Animal Man and Phantom Stranger. I wouldn't mind seeing Second string members like Vibe, Gypsy and Commander Steel have lines in an episode.

As for villians, I would like to see the Thunderers of Qward make an appearance on JLU. I know they are primarily Green Lantern foes, but it would be cool to see these warriors take on the JLU. If anything it would be a great way to bring back Sinestro.

Nightwing, and more Nightwing, also Batgirl and Robin, but actually right now Azrael, Spoiler, and Steel sound cool.Oh and I'm still waiting for the day Spoiler gets animated, as well as Cassie as Batgirl.

I second the call for Animal Man. Grant Morrison's take on him was one of the best series of the last twenty years, and we know that Timm is a fan of Morrison's to a certain extent (in that he read Morrison's run on JLA, and presumably enjoyed it).

And what about some newer characters? Even if people like Manitou Raven, Faith, Onyx, Thunder, and Grace didn't get any lines, they'd add a lot of visual and ethnic diversity to the team.

I'd like to see Red Tornado get some of the spotlight.

I'd also like to see an homage to the JLU days. They could use Flash, Booster Gold, Elongated Man, Fire, Ice and either Martian Manhunter or Captain Atom as the straight man. Manga Khan would be a fun villian for that situation, especially if he brings L-Ron with him (though none of it will be quite the same without Blue Beetle).

I also think it would be cool if the Secret showed up someday, but I doubt that would ever happen.

By the way, TBalena, I love what it says under your username. You must also get annoyed when people spell it "Raynor".

Firestorm in the show would make me a v happy man. Would love to ee Nightwing some day but not holding my breath on that one! Hawkman (no Hro Talek) should be in JLU somehow. New Gods and the GL corps should come back. A spotlight episode for EM would be v nice. I would love to see Flash, EM and BG all together out in a mission, that´d be fun ( We had plenty of serious episodes on Season 2). Also PLEASE give Martian Manhunter some important roll on the 3rd season. WW really needs more work on her backgrounds/personality as well.

Also, a weeding in the show would be nice!!! (think of Lois & Clark with Lois finally letting us know she knows Clark´s alter ego!!!! heck yeah!

i think this would be a good epsiode. i would like too see one featuring Star Spangled Kid (Stargirl) and Supergirl. It would be nice too see Kara make friends with her and hang out HAHA - In the way her and Batgirl got on really well after BTAS Girls Nite Out :anime: Which sadly we cant see cause of the bat-embargo

I also think a wedding episode could be really fun, but instead of Lois and Clark, let's see the Elongated Man and Sue Dibny. They've always been a fun couple, and it'd be nice to have Sue waltzing around the Watchtower.

Anyhow, I'd really like to see Adam Strange, more of the JSA (particularly Star Spangled Kid/Stargirl), more Red Tornado, and Firestorm.

Elongated Man definitely (preferably with Sue in tow). Beyond him though, Fire & Ice, Dr. Light, and some of the JSA members like Hourman, Atom Smasher, and Stargirl.

This would mean Barbara would've already been shot, and acting as Oracle (which would be cool too.... though, wasn't she commissioner in Return of the Joker?).. heh heh... continuity-shmontinuity
