So it appears that Slade is taking orders from Trigon, and something BIG is in the works. I'm guessing that'll be the topic of the 3-parter at the end of the season.
10/10. I agree, best episode of the series so far.
David Slack and Micheal Chang did a great job with this episode, best Titans episode ever. Trigon has a great voice too. Extremely creepy, with a lot of good moments, especially between Raven and Robin.75 out of 5.

Hmmmm If there was a way to describe this episode without swearing in glee I would try but I cant so I just post later when I've stoped bounceing off the wall bye for now:anime:

Awesome! Just awesome! The beginning with Slade rising from hell to the end with the vision of the end of the world. The vision at the end gave me chills. I don't know how, but that episode somehow was 10x creepier than haunted! Now I can't wait for the three part "The End" finale.

For the love of God, somebody give Slade a motive. He's such a one-dimensional "RARRRGH DESTROY THE WORLD" bad guy (albeit a semi-likeable one).
Best episode of Teen Titans ever. Spectacular. Everything was perfect. Everything.
In my mind, this show has just become legendary.
I've always believed that mankind is capable of greatness. We haven't even come close yet to reaching our potential. But it depends on us. God gave angels wings. He gave mankind dreams. And with His help, there's no limit to what can be accomplished.---Ronald Reagan

You all WILL do the SAMPO DANCE WITH ME! Or I shall get my daddy on you! He's not a demon, but he's a mailman. Close enough. Okay, bad choice. My dad won't do anything. SO FEEL THE WRATH OF GUN BUNNY!
Slade: Hello, birthday girl.
Slade: Ever have one of those days where you just feel happy to be alive?
Slade: Skies will burn, flesh will turn to stone, the sun will set on your world, never to rise again.
Slade: And by the way, happy birthday.
Trigon: Then the world of mortals shall be ended.![]()
And READ "Young Justice" (don't make GUN BUNNY MAD!)
Nice to see Dr. Light in action against the Titans.. For a second I didn't recognize him, tell they said his name, and then I noticed the costume similarities.. Nice little cameo, although the rhyming game was a bit much.. "Dr. Light's not very bright."
Man, a lot of Raven's uniform got burned.. I would've almost welcomed a newer look with longer hair, but I guess I don't blame them for sticking with the same model of length of hair, etc.. This looks like it's gonna be an interesting season. Can't wait, although I laugh when it sounds like Robin thinks Slade is the mastermind.. Yea, I'm sure someone didn't give him those flying powers..

This was THE BEST so far. Trigon (It seems like) possesed Slade and made him do this stuff, funny tak with Dr. Light. Many memorable quotes.
Raven: Remeber me?
Light: I'd like to go to jail now.
(This isn't how it was exactly but...)
Raven: May I suggest attacking a place that we can't see from our living room?
Light: Well I uh...um...
Slade: Oh, and Happy Birthday.
This is the besy episode so far. This is an excellent start to the 4th season (It was the 2nd, close enough) I couldn't stop watching. This is going to be the best season, I know it. 6 stars out of 5. Couldn't get better.
Ps: SLADE'S ALIVE AND HE'S WITH TRIGON! BEST ALLIANCE EVER! THEY WILL RULE!
P.S.S: This is an episode that really starts rumors of a Raven Robin relationship, don't you think?

So many great lines! (Edit: Now Accurately fresh!)
Raven: "Remember me?"
Dr. Light: "I'd like to go to jail now please."
Robin: "It's more than that, I can tell. We have a bond, remember? You've been inside my mind. Let me inside your's."
Raven: "Robin, you know me better than anyone. You should know there are places in my mind where you can't go. Where no one should ever go."
Cyborg: "You... how did you survive?"
Beastboy: "Terra took you down... WAY down!"
Robin: "Slade... I don't know where you've been, but you shouldn't have come back. I'm still ready."
Slade: "Mm-hm. That's precious, Robin, but.. I didn't come back for you."
Slade: "Ever have one of those days where you just feel happy to be alive?"
Cyborg: "Whoa!"
Slade: "Whoa? That's it? No clever comment? I was looking forward to that."
Slade: "Take my word for it, Robin. You shouldn't play with fire."
Slade: "You might be able to stop time, birthday girl, but you can't stop me. You can't stop any of it, really."
Raven: "No...!"
Slade: "Yeesss... look at it... drink it in."
(creeepy)
Slade: "We'll be in touch. Oh... and happy birthday."
Animation looked very fluid. I enjoyed Raven's dream sequence during the beginning (with her room on fire) and.. Slade can FLY, teleport, shoot fire, AND electricity? "Whoa."
This episode raises a lot of questions. One Robin was about to ask Raven before being interrupted ("What's that symbol on his forehead?"). How did Slade come back with powers?
I'm sure the Robin/Raven 'shippers went wild during this.
The only thing I could possibly fault this episode for would be Slade continually repeating "The message must be delivered" like a zombie.. or maybe I've just watched too much Day of the Dead. (Funny movie, btw!)
Is this episode better than Haunted? Hmm, that's a tough one... nah, I like them both equally.
5/5.
It probably will never be directly said in the show, but I think it's obvious that Slade WAS killed by Terra and revived by Trigon.![]()

So wait... Slade's boss is named "Trigon?" That doesn't even start with an "S!"Originally Posted by KuwabaraTheMan

Wow. What an episode; it reached levels of darkness that I didn't think TT was capable of. When it comes down to sheer pathos, this was just as good as "Aftershock," maybe even better. I like Raven's new fashion statement. Well, the tattoos I could do without, and the midriff might work better if she added a modest miniskirt, but she looks pretty with long hair. It compliments the shape of her face.![]()

This was one of the best episodes that I have ever seen! It sets you up for "The End" and for the season! It was sooo cool! There were some really good fighting sences and parts of Raven that I have never even sence before!Gosh Raven really has had a hard life! This episode had twists around each and every corner! I loved it! This is my favortite episode yet!

that was great i liked it alot.5 stars.
ravens my fav.
Wow...nothing short of incredible.
Strong start with the return of Dr. Light...and I loved the "Remember me?" scene.
So Slade's been stuck in the ground all this time? I wonder how Robin ended up with his mask, then...
Raven turning down her party was VERY well-executed. First she politely refuses, but it's only when they press the matter she gets pissed. The BB pinata was a great touch.
The fight scene was the best one since "Red X"...Slade's powers really got shown off, especially when Cyborg was swinging the metal beam at him, and he simply heated himself to make the beam melt around him.
Raven can STOP TIME now? Yikes.
I missed the scene with her in the church, I'll have to catch it again tomorrow.
The future sequence was done well, though I think her fingernails would have grown a bit, too...
And the ending was perfect, setting up for "The Prophecy".
Great animation, great story, great voiceacting, and great humor. This completely deserves the 5/5.

Demon's Souls: It's never felt so good to be beaten so badly. Expect me to invade your world soon...MUHAHAHAHAHA!
True, but that definitely wouldn't fly with the network. Trigon's as close as you can get. I really didn't even expect them to show Slade rising from Hell.So wait... Slade's boss is named "Trigon?" That doesn't even start with an "S!"
Satan would have been a better villain.
They said alot of things in this episode....without without actually saying them.

I was wondering why she did that if she wanted the day to be over faster. Wouldn't stopping time make her birthday longer?Originally Posted by Spoontang
