    Season 4 of Teen Titans

    Like This Thread!
Of course many of you all know that Season 4 of Teen Titans will revolve mostly on Raven, meaning that (quoting Tara Strong) "Daddy's coming!"
What do you think this season will be like? IMO I feel that it will be possibly the most intense season of all, right next to Season 2 (Beast Boy/Terra's season) for the simple fact that of course the Titans will face Trigon, and it is rumored that on the season finale entitled "The End" a Titan (obviously Raven) will die.
Now I doubt that she'll actually die. Most likely she'll be Terra'd or she'll just disappear at the end, leaving many possibilities open on whether she died or not.
Also, who do you think the villain will be? I know everyone is going to say Trigon just because it's Raven's season, but with the simple fact that Trigon is kept back by Raven's hidden emotions, there would be no way for him to appear as a regular villain, only on the finale, so they'll possibly find or create a villain for Raven. IMO the villain Twister from the New Teen Titans comcis should be used. Her powers consist of her having the ability to create hallucinations which would be very interesting to see how Raven would deal with this.
    Here is her bio:
Twister was originally a girl named Theresa who was born in the small European country of Zandia. Theresa started to believe in the teachings of the Church of Blood, which dominated Zandia and which was headed by the sinister Brother Blood. Meeting Brother Blood himself, Theresa fell under his influence and became convinced he loved her. But in fact, Blood regarded her as a potential subject for experimentation.

Brother Blood continually sought to find new means of controlling people. The experiments conducted upon Theresa were intended to give her superpowers that would help Blood control others through her. One result of the experiments was to give Theresa the psionic power to induce hallucinations in others. However, the surgical techniques to which Theresa was subjected also horribly distorted her facial features. Moreover, the experiments also distorted her mind.

Twister, who is now about eighteen, still loved Brother Blood and claimed to approve of her transformation into the super-powered Twister. When the Teen Titans invaded Zandia shortly before Blood's supposed "resurrection" was staged for television, Twister volunteered to contact the second Brotherhood of Evil to ask them to help battle the Titans.

Twister first battled the Titans herself on her way to find the Brotherhood. She found the Brotherhood in Japan and succeeded in enlisting their aid - During a battle between the Brotherhood and some of the Titans in Zandia, the Titan Cyborg was injured Twister found Cyborg being helped by her family, who recognized her as Theresa. Twister became confused when her mother told her her family loved her, since Blood had convinced Twister that only he loved her.

Cyborg escaped, and several of the Titans attacked Twister and members of the Brotherhood. These Brotherhood members were defeated, but Twister got away after using her powers on the Titans.

Twister's current whereabouts and activities now that the Church of Blood has collapsed are unknown.

She would make a good villain for the season, and her having ties to Brother Blood would make it earier for her to make the scene.

Also for Season 4, I'd like to one last appearance of Slade and have his motive revealed. I'm hoping it will stick to the comics, because in the comics Slade (known as Deathstroke the Terminator) was working for the HIVE who wanted the Teen Titans destroyed, and Slade was fullfilling his son's contract that he had with the HIVE that couldn't be finished on account of his death, so Slade filled in.
Hopefully for season 4 they'll state this (minus the son part).

And of course, I would LOVE another appearance of Red X, and an episode dedicated to the Titans East, showing how they handle business.

    Any comments?
    Slade: Hello, birthday girl.
Slade: Ever have one of those days where you just feel happy to be alive?
Slade: Skies will burn, flesh will turn to stone, the sun will set on your world, never to rise again.
Slade: And by the way, happy birthday.
Trigon: Then the world of mortals shall be ended.
And READ "Young Justice" (don't make GUN BUNNY MAD!)

Wait a minute. How can we tell what Season 4 is going to be about? Did you read this somewhere or is this a guess? Possibly all of the titans would be alive at the end. It could be possible Robin may die, though.

    This is from Comics Continuum:

David Slack, producer of the Teen Titan animated series, dropped hints about upcoming episodes during the Warner Bros. Animation panel at Comic-Con International recently.

"There's an arc centered around Cyborg and we see the apperance of a very popular villain from the comics, Brother Blood, who was a ton of fun to write. And in Season 4, we are telling a little story about Raven. And then there's the conclusion of the 'Judas Contract' story that will be airing soon, with Terra."

As the second season comes to a conclusion with four episodes -- the first of which aired on Saturday night -- Slack said the challenge has been to keep things fresh. "It definitely does reach a period where things feel like you've done it all," he said. "After Season 2, I felt like, 'We've done the 26 obvious ideas.' But then you kind of get past that and it really gets to a point where things flow again. We had an episode where we came up with the idea for it and I wrote the outline in about 48 hours recently. It's always nice when things flow."
This is from Teen Titans Animated:

So what’s the word on season five? Animation Insider recently caught up with TEEN TITANS Producer/Story Editor David Slack. Presently, TEEN TITANS is renewed for four seasons, with a total of 52 episodes. I asked David about the possibility of a fifth season. He revealed: "We don't know about a fifth season yet. There's still a lot of ideas out there that we'd like to do. Spare parts. Things that you'd say "Oh, wouldn't it be cool if we did this." Stuff that we weren't quite able to figure out how they'd work. For example, in season four we finally figured out how to do an episode I've wanted to do since season one. Right now things are flowing pretty good and we'd all love to do more. So we're all waiting. "

I expressed some concern over the "52-episode rule". Today, if an animated series has 52 episodes. they consider it enough for daily viewing. Is there a profitable reason to go back for more? David mentioned, "I'm not sure how that works. The shows I've worked on have been atypical. BIG GUY AND RUSTY THE BOY ROBOT was supposed to get picked up, but didn't, because of a changing of the guard. But then JACKIE CHAN has over 90 episodes... which is a huge number. But TEEN TITANS is doing well. Hopefully Cartoon Network will want more. Basically I just get a call, and they say "Hey, want to do more?" and I get working. I think we have legs to go beyond 52. I think we're all hopeful. "

So with season one focused of Robin, season two on Beast Boy, Cyborg for season three and Raven for season four... where does that leave our favorite Tamaranean Titan? I asked that very question: Will Starfire get gypped out of a season arc? "But you know what?" David said, "She has the best one-off episodes. That's actually the reason we haven't done a Starfire arc. Between SISTERS, HOW LONG IS FOREVER, SWITCHED and some of the upcoming stuff . I don't know how she gets that lucky. BETROTHED is a tremendous amount of fun. She's such a great character."

Here's two other tidbits I've uncovered that would make Robin's brain work overtime: The season ender for season four is titled "The End." But.... an insider informs me that a season five order may mean more than the usual 13-episode order. Puzzle that one out, boy wonders.
When a decision is made for season five, it'll be sure to be reported in this space. Stay tooned!
