As of late I have been thinking and I was able to come to this coclusion because of information that I have gathered from the show and from upcoming show news. When you look at the evidence gathered like Ares's threat, Circe's apperance, Some of the New Gods being members of the League, Some of the evil New Gods are suppossed to be showing up and the fact that Captin Marvel is bound to show up this season or next.

Maybe, wasn't Circe in a JLU episode? I never heard of that but I had a feeling something similar would happen.
