    If the Batkids are to appear on JLU

    Like This Thread!
    Who should play their parts? I hope they keep Tara Strong as Batgirl and Loren Lester as Nightwing, although there's a choice between Eli Emential (sp?) and Scott Melville since Eli played him in Mystery of the Batwoman and Scott plays him on Teen Titans

    Loren Lester is a no-brainer.

    Tara Strong for Batgirl.

    Eli Marenthal or Shane Sweet as Tim. NO SCOTT MENVILLE (cause he's Dick).

    They should make every effort to get all the TNBA voice actors for Batgirl, Robin (Tim Drake), and Nightwing (Dick Grayson).

    They don't have to become JL members, they don't even have to make regular appearances; just let all three of them appear and take an active role in a single episode in Gotham City (maybe it could involve a plot where Batman was missing, similiar to that one issue of Justice League Adventures that had Robin in it?)...
    Favorites! (1) Action: Transformers & G.I. Joe; Visionairies; The DCAU; Robotech, DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo & Trigun; TMNT, MOTU; and Avengers: EMH; (2) Comedy: The Simpsons & Futurama, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast & The Brak Show, Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, ATHF, The Boondocks, The Venture Bros., and Archer

    They kind of already did that with "Knight Time." I'd love to see a Batman, Green Arrow, Question, Huntress and Nightwing episode. We are getting something similar to that next season, though.

    Heh, ironically, Tara Strong is both Batgirl, and Raven. Man. two characters in one universe.

    Nope! Teen Titans is in a seperate 'universe' than B:TAS/TNBA/S:TAS/JL/JLU/BB...

    "The DC Animated Universe"...

    I'm pretty sure that'd include BOTH Justie League Unlimited AND Teen Titans.

    ...yeesh.

    'Fraid not. You'll find most people here seem to think of them as separate universes. (After all, "The Batman" is a DC property, and it's animated, but it's hardly in continuity with "B:TAS")

    Static Shock's Future Shock. I guess Eli Marenthal was getting too old for the role.

    Scott Menville did a good job as Tim in Batman: Rise of Shin Tsu. They should just let him do it. Who cares if it's different universe.

    Ooh, ooh, me, me!

    Aside from the fact that they are two different Robins Scott Menville's voice just grates on my nerves. I like Robin and all but that voice kept me from liking him sooner.

    Well I hated Eli Marithal and Shane Sweet. I guess I just want a constant Robin voice and not one that changes every few months when they all go through puberty lol. Besides I am so used to Scott Menville aS Robin so they might as well. Still no one will beat Matthew Valencia as Tim.

    Indeed. Actually, there's more than one "DC Animated Universe" -- each exists in its own continuity!

    (1) First, we have the "Batman & Robin", "Superman & Superboy", "Aquaman", "Flash", "Green Lantern", and "Super Friends" of the 1960's & 1970's; maybe we should call this one the Hanna-Barbera DCAU?

    (2) Then, we have the one accepted by most people here, the "Batman: TAS", "The New Batman Adventures", "Superman: The Animated Series", "Justice League", "Justice League Unlimited", and "Batman Beyond" (with "Static Shock" and "The Zeta Project" as spinoffs) of the 1990's & 2000's; I call this one the Timm/Dini DCAU, in an attempt to be more precise.

    Then there are other shows which are in seperate continuities by themselves, such as:

    (3) the Superman cartoon from the 1950's;
    (4) Teen Titans;
    (5) The Batman;
    (6 & more) and any cartoon where DC heroes & villians appeared as guest stars (think Batman & Robin, Joker & Penguin on "Scooby Doo" for example

    So there's at least 6 different DCAU's right there...

    I loved those Scooby-Doo episodes as a kid. Let's have Casey Kasem do Robin from now on!

    I agree. But they should get someone who SOUNDS like him even if it isn't Marenthal or Sweet.

    Anyone enough about Robin, I think Tara Strong has Batgirl's role for keeps in the Timmverse now, she's now the "Kevin Conroy" of Batgirl same with Loren Lester. (as Dick Grayson at least) I'm pretty sure Tara Strong and Loren Lester would resprise their roles. Besides the Batkids should appear anyway the Superkid (hehe) is already there, it's only fair the Batkids show up.
