I made this. It's a parody of "Cats in the Cradle" by Ugly Kid Joe.

BATS in the cradle

Seems Dick was here just the other day
He loved his girl and he loved the cape
But there were villains to catch, personas to play
He learned to hate the job everyday
Talking back before I knew it, a punch flew
He said, “I've had enough, I’m through, yeah,
I'm never gonna be like you!”

And the bat's in the cradle and the silver spoon
TNBA is over but the JLU’s soon
When to hang the cape up?
I don't know when, we'll get together then
You know we'll be a family then

My son turned sane just the other day
Tim said, "Thanks for the ball, but I want my cape
Can I join the patrol again?" But I’d say,
“I'll patrol alone." He said, "That's ok"
And I, I limped away from his smile and thought
You know, I’d do better with Tim, yeah,
I should have done better with Tim

Barb called from college just the other day
Still much like a girl, thought she’d been replaced.
"I'm missing you, could we talk for a while?"
I shook my head and said with a smile
“Signal breaking, tunnel, Barb,” as I crumpled a Gotham Week
“Talk later, see you in two weeks.”

I've long since retired, Terry’s got the cave
I called the team just the other day
"I'd like to see you if you don't mind"
Barb said, "I'd love to, Bruce, but I’ve got overtime.
I could give Tim the message but his kids have the flu
And Dick’s still not talking to you, yeah,
Well, it's sure nice talking to you."

And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me
They turned out just like me
My kids were just like me

Heh...that's kinda cute, man! You oughta post this over at the WF Fan Fiction board, too. Nice to see how you kept the basic rhythm and rhyme of the song throughout your parody. Good job.
