I went to Amazon and the have the DVD of ROTJ, I looked at the rating. And it says 'unrated.' Is this the *really* cool version, orginal, uncut version I"m hearing so much about?

Nope. It's not the unedited.

yeah, like batboy said, it's the edited version. It says "un-rated" cuz..well..it wasn't rated. probably one of the reasons it was edited..if it came w/ a PG-13 rating, it probably wouldn't have been edited..

The reason why it's unrated is becuase direct-to-vdeo fare is never submitted to the MPAA. Look at all those unrated Scooby movies. Same thing.

The DVD will have different cover art and will be rleeased in 2002. Word has it that WB will repackage it, but not "kid-friendly" like the original ROTJ.
