    best Batman villain design...

    Like This Thread!
What's your favorite villain design? In my opinion the BTAS design of Two-Face is the best design they ever made, the whole look of the character is just perfect and facinating two opposites combined in one body, the black and white suit just highlighted Two Face' contrasts, it's simple but whoever invented it was a genuis , it's definately the best design they ever made for Two-Face. I don't know why they picked the sky blue color for his scarred side but it fits perfectly and it's a lot better than the purple or green versions in the comics. Except for Harley Quinn, Two Face was the only character they didn't redesign for the third season, this is just a proove who well this character was made. (well they changed his left-side lip color, but that's it) Next to Two-Face the BTAS version of Poison Ivy (the way she was in "Pretty Poison") is one of my favorites. Too bad they never made Catwoman the way she was supposed to be in her own series that would have rocked.

I'm not sure if this counts, but my favorite villian design was the ROTJ Joker! This was without a doubt the best design of the Joker yet!! I also like(from TAS) Two-FAce, Clayface, Catwoman, and Ra's Al Ghul. For TNBA I thought that the Penguin's look was the best. It suited him better than the TAS version.

ROTJ/JL Joker is definatly the best version of the character. I'm glad they finally decided on a final look for the character. Another favorite design of mine is the original Riddler. Nicely done.

I'd say the TNBA Scarecrow. That was a frightening look.

I just gotta go with the ROTJ/JL Joker. A perfect combination of the two styles (BTAS and TNBA). A close second would be the BTAS Riddler. Always loved that design.

I'm gonna say BTAS Mr. Freeze. The circular glasses look really great. Heck, the whole thing looks great.

Definitely the ROTJ Joker, blended the good points from the old and new design.

And like DA said already, Scarecrow's new look was great. His old look was more cheeky comedy than horror, but his new look is downright evil.

I'd also go with the Scarecrow, and particularly with the voice--cold and dead. "Never Fear" was a terrific episode; I wish they could have done more with the Scarecrow.

The new Scarecrow is actually scary. The main complaint I heard was that he was no longer skinny and small. I think he had padding and enhancements in the suit, personally, to help acheive the effect.

Why, Clayface is the coolest design of course!

My second favorite is the ROTJ/JL Joker, for all the reasons already listed.

And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.

I'm just going to have to go w/ all of the above

ROTJ Joker, Freeze, Two-Face, Clayface, Scarecrow... everyone that's been said had a great design.

I agree with you completely BWDK, except that as mych as I love Poison Ivy, she's not one of my favorites. But Two-Face a la B:TAS, and Catwoman as she would have been in her spin-off was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay perfectomundo! Also, you've gotta love Ra's Al Ghul. He's pretty freaky. Plus, I never could duplicate how they shaded his eyes in my drawings!

    Hmmm...

I know that it isn't as popular, but I loved the TNBA version of the Joker. He's skinnier (the BTAS version was too built), had thicker hair (no receeding hairline), and looked really sharp in straight purple and green. I even liked the minimal detail on his face (black eyes and no red lips)--it made him look even more "unreal"...more like a cartoon character (compared to the more realistic portrayals of everyone else, of course).

As for the rest of the Crack Pack:

Two-Face: BTAS version (less "sinister" on his good half--more 50/50).
Catwoman: TNBA version (way sexier and sleeker).
Riddler: BTAS version (I've said it before, and I'll say it again...).
The Mad Hatter: BTAS version (bright blue was much sharper than puke green).
Scarecrow: TNBA version (creepier...but he no longer looks like a real scarecrow. Honorable mention: the second BTAS version).
    Mr. Freeze: BTAS version (perfect).
Poison Ivy: TNBA version (love the newer "Goth" Ivy--more poisonous).
Penguin: BTAS version (he had more character in his face; plus more "penguin" like).
Killer Croc: BTAS version (I like his older voice too).
Ras Al Ghul: BTAS version (much sharper--and more sinister--in design).

how does one choose...but if i must i think it would have to be...

nah forget it i really liked all of them...
think about how well the ventriliquist and scarface was
any version of freeze...even though the spider head was silly the costume still kicked
    all the joker's
ivy (preffering the latter ivy) same with scarecrow, bane, and two-face and catwoman and clayface and ....i could go on and on...
but of course the only bad redesign ever was riddler...
sorry for the messiness and un thoroughness...long day of work...

I don't know why BTAS scarecrow is so overlooked, because I thought he was the creepest villian on there. They should put him in a live-action Batman movie, if he isn't already.
