I was just wondering. If JL ever gets cancelled or stops, then there has to be some shows on after that. I was wondering what two Superheroes should get their own show after that?
I would say the Green Lantern and the Flash.

Doug: And who do you think that guy was?
Emilio Estevez!

Definately Green Lantern, and probably Flash. The rest seem too dull to be able to support their own show.
Definately Wonder Woman or Green Lantern. Compared to Flash, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter, they are the most popular. I would enjoy watching cartoon's staring any of them, but those two rank the highest and deserve the next cartoon title.
But, the inner fan in me hopes that the JL cartoon popularity will make DC give the Martian Manhunter comic title to someone, and start it up again, even though I'd miss Ostrander.
But, yeah, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern for the next cartoon.
Y'know, I heard Swedish chicks dig fish guys. It's a well-known fact.
Wonder Woman.
Green Lantern and a renewed Batman
Wonder Woman and ...
Wonder Woman

Well, my number one choice is of course Green Lantern, but I don't necessarily think it should concentrate on John Stewart. It should expand to all members of the corp. I think Flash would make a couple of appearances on the show, but not enough to be a co-star used for comedy relief. You'd have Kyle Rayner around for that.
If I had to choose another member it would definitely be Wonder Woman. It's been too long since we've seen a good animated series for girls and women, like She-Ra, Jem, or even Rainbow Bright (Totally Spies doesn't count). Besides that, she's the last of the big three from DC, and she's had her own television series before. Just seems logical to me. Also, it would be interesting to see if they brought in the original Black Wonder Woman, but in this continuity, ain't gonna happen.

Flash and GL. The rest are too boring (WW) or too unpopular (Hawkgirl & MM).
The world's 225 richest people now have a combined wealth of $1 trillion. That's equal to the combined annual income of the world's 2.5 billion poorest people.
Something to think about.
Anybody *except* Superman and Batman. But based on the JL episodes so far, I imagine that any writers who wanted to work on a "JL-spinoff" would have to look at the JL episodes themselves for inspiration, and since the only heroes who have any significant background on the JL shows are Superman and Batman, they might decide that the only characters who could possibly support their own shows would be Superman and Batman. Sigh.![]()
Oh, and there's already going to be *another* Batman cartoon. Just what we needed.![]()

But looking at the other candidates:
Green Lantern. Mmmm, no. Hal Jordan has a good supporting cast and a large group of villains. John Stewart has none of these (other than the Corps itself, which you don't want to overuse, or else GL becomes just another GL). There's not much to take from the comics and what there is won't work since the animated John Stewart is so different from the real one. They'd have to reinvent everything (supporting cast, villains, etc) for John Stewart, and based on the work on JL, I don't have much faith that this could be done well.
Flash. A possible contender. Good villains and supporting cast whether Flash is Barry or Wally.
Wonder Woman. Unfortunately, the JL episodes have drained all the excitement out of her origin and appearance in man's world. Beyond that, she does at least have interesting recurring villains, though I don't know which supporting cast they might choose for her. However, the voice actress for Wonder Woman that they have chosen so far seems ill-suited for a starring role.
Hawkgirl. We don't know anything about her. (This will change with Star-crossed, I suppose.) But lacking her main supporting character (Hawkman) as well as lacking all the little minor details that made the Hawks interesting in their various incarnations, I wouldn't have much hope for such a show, unless they bring in the extra details.
Martian Manhunter. Difficult, since he's never had a great supporting cast, nor a horde of villains to call his own. In his heyday, he had Zook as a sort of sidekick, but Zook might be considered too silly for today's market. That leaves J'onn in his "John Jones" police identity as the main background element. But with no significant recurring villains, the writers would have to come up with a lot of stuff from scratch, which I feel they are not at all good at. While a J'onn series could be written as an X-Files variant, it would take solid writing skills to make this work, skills which seem absent in the current JL writers.
So, out of these poor choices, I would put Flash at number one and Wonder Woman at number two, with Hawkgirl third, Manhunter fourth, and Green Lantern fifth, with Superman and Batman tied for last place.
Who says you cant use Hal or even Kyle Rayner comics villains as John Stewarts? Sinestro, Star Sapphire and Fatality can all be used without any problems. As far as a supporting cast that can be created by anyone. To me John Stewart is probably the only one other than Superman and Batman interesting enough to be capable of supporting a solo series.Originally Posted by SimonMoon5

Kyle Rayner, dang it!
having heard the fanboys' choices, the corporate suits would say, ok who sells the most toys? let's make him/her the star of the show. batman is the most marketable because of the gizmos he needs due to his complete lack of powers, asides from his "never give up" ability. girls tend not to buy female superheroes, and this is moreso with boys, so ww and hg are out. mm probably wouldn't sell by himself, unless you team him up with other nonhumans, such as the tmnt. gl probably wouldn't sell well, since green guys have historically had problems. look at the hulk merchandise. flash does well with the kids, so maybe him. supes doesn't sell as well, so probably not. batman sells well, so give him another series. therefore, the suits would probably try to pair batman and flash, distasteful as it seems, since they would sell more toys together than gl and flash.
The world will miss your sparkling intellect. Goodbye Flash.

Why is everyone just posting JL cast members?
Out of the JL cast:
J'onn could have his own show, GL too.
Out of the Rest of the DC universe:
Joanah Hex would do great in his own show.
Out of Other DC Characters:
Plastic Man
Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. Them or maybe the Question.
Matt Zimmer!

Wonder Woman & Green Lantern Corps.
Flash, definitely. He's an amateur, he would have a lot of problems. It would be more entertaining.
Wonder Woman would be good too.
There will never be another "Arrested Development."
Flash and Gl. It'd be interestign to see them do the whole flash mythos and have appearances by Jay, barry, and Bart.Originally Posted by Sir T. Ghostal

' LIGHT EM UP!!' - GL _ John Stewart
1. Wonder Woman
2. Batman(with Batgirl and Nightwing)![]()
1. Definitely a GL series. I love the GL Corps, and I think it'd be great to see the mythos of the Corps expanded on in animation. As much as I like the John Stewart GL, I think a GL series might work better with "that Rayner kid" as a main character, with regular appearances by Stewart, Kilowog, Katma Tui, and Jade, as well as seeing Alan Scott show up. Guy Gardner may have to be left out
2. I'd like to see a J'onn J'onzz series. Granted, he is not as well known as other DC characters, but I think he could hold a series. However, a series starring J'onn should not be an action series, instead I could see something along the lines of a "Law & Order:Criminal Intent". I feel that J'onn could really shine in a format such as this.
"You know something Bruce, you're not always right".
