    Batman commiting murder....

    Like This Thread!
DG mentioned that in Batman and Batman Returns Michael Keaton bumps off a couple guys. I haven't seen either movie in a long time, so can you refresh me on the details DG? I agree that Batman killing is very out of character, I just don't remember the deaths.

These are comin' off the top of my head so I may forget a couple. Batman blows up some guys in the Axis chemical plant and throughs a guy down a shaft in Batman. In Batman Returns he blows up a guy by attaching a bomb to his belt. Any I missed?

    Well

Technically he killed Joker and Penguin as well. Catwoman killed Max Schreck....so I guess thats about it. And Two-Face technically. I dunno what you guys were talking about, but I thought Id chime in with the major deaths of the movies. What are you talking about?

Not to mention the machine gun turrets on the Batmobile. Those were for target practice only, right?

Oh yeah. The dark mood worked, but that Batman killing thing essentially goes against his mission in life.

And it should never have happened ... the deaths of Penguin, Two-Face and Joker were a bad idea. As you say, it goes against all that Batman stands for.

Two-Face was a particularly bad one after all the lecturing Bruce does to Robin about revenge not helping and generally being a big no-no .... and then promptly kills him!

As awful as the film was at least Freeze was 'saved' in Batman & Robin.
