I think the thing that scares peole away from this title is that you can't just read one issue. basically it's set up that in one iss, a bunch of info is thrown at you and you're like "HUH??" and then the next issue shows up, explaining what the heck you saw.
For some strange reason, I'm liking this series...I like the concept of the chrome. Like the whole mystery of herod thing...and the fact that the original gen13 team isn't dead after all......

I have a bunch of these, but was never able to get into it. Not even when Warren Ellis was writing it. The cliched 90s characters like Grunge were kind of a turnoff.
Maybe I was missing out, though. And I'm sure the series must have matured since then.
And stay out of Riverdale!
It's Chris Claremont, but I just could never buy into Gen13... ever. I mean, I always felt it was a ripoff of the X-Men. Granted, that might not be the same now, but... *shrugging* I don't know.

I loved the old comic as well..felt it was like X-men with an edge...
