New X-Men: Holy Smokes!! (SPOILERS)

Who read this week's issue? Beast - beat to near death? Professer Xavier's body taken over? Humans storming the gates of Xavier's Institute? This is nuts...and I am absolutely ENJOYING this! Who else has been ready?

Ok, I just finished the issue.

One, I hate the Jean/Logan angle they're putting in. I absolutely HATE it.

Two, I hate Beast's new look. Can't stand it.

Three, I feel really bad for Hank, regarding the whole Trish thing. I felt really bad.

Four, the next issue can't come soon enough!

I loved the issue as a whole, especially the whole Cassandra thing. Crazy stuff, man.

I really like how we got to see the school as an actually school for mutants. I wonder what Charlies is gonna think when he eventually gets control of body! You know he will! I knew Cassandra hasd to still be around after last month's shoot out!

I don't know if you've ever read Generation X, but around issue 50 or so, they turned it into a boarding school. Not quite the same thing, but the halls were always filled, and Collosus even gave a guest lecture in art.

Yes, Chuck will be back. There's no doubt in my mind.

My roommate and I were thinking, wouldn't it be cool if Hank & Cassandra's little rumble got Hank to revert back to his human form?

I think Cassandra's little mental assault will make Beast doubt himself for the next little while. But will he pursue being human? I wonder...
